The war-torn Afghanistan was once peaceful where women could freely roam(漫步;遊蕩) around the streets in dresses. Afghanistan as seen in William Podlich's photographs is almost unrecognizable(無法辨認的).

The Taliban emerged(出現) in 1994 around the southern Afghan city of Kandahar. It originally drew members from so-called “mujahideen” fighters who, with support from the United States, repelled(擊退) Soviet forces in the 1980s.

Shack每一位新加入TORN的玩家的基本配備
大部分人為了脫離Shack 會在有一些錢後買一棟房屋
但是要注意的是中間的消耗會很不划算
這是跟NPC買房的價目表:
> Trailer - $5,000
> Apartment - $25,000
> Semi-Detached house - $75,000
> Detached house - $300,000
> Beach house - $500,000
> Chalet - $750,000
> Villa - $1,250,000
> Penthouse - $2,000,000
-------------------------分隔線以上不要買
> Mansion - $3,000,000-買
> Ranch - $15,000,000
> Palace - $65,000,000-買
> Castle - $200,000,000
> Private island - $500,000,000-買
以從Trailer沿路往上搬到Mansion的人來說
花的錢是不划算的
不如直接等到有3百萬買一棟Mansion
多出來的還能把房屋 完全改建都沒問題
如果還每一棟完全改裝完畢的話 那真的是虧大了
那些方嗚拿去市場賣還不一定能原價賣出
(當初我的Trailer $1000便宜賣 還等了很久 T_T)
所以Mansion是最佳選擇-->便宜&每日耗費不多
從價目表來看Mansion之後價格漲了5倍
再後面一點的也是天文數字
所以把錢花在重點上 才不會造成浪費
從上面的表中Mansion之後跳到Palace的原因:
有保險庫(vault)的改裝
這理由就夠充分讓很多人放棄Ranch改選Palace
雖然Palace沒有靶場Ranch有 但是那也不過是一點點的happy罷了
保險庫能讓你的錢安安全全的藏在裡面 絕對不會被人搶
也不像是銀行最少要等7天 金錢的靈活度提高很多
再來就是城堡(Castle)VS私人島嶼(Private island)
簡單來說城堡就是Palace強化版 多了個醫院和基本happy數值高而已
就跟Ranch對上Palace一樣 理由類似
有飛機場(Airstrip)
玩家出國旅遊免錢 減少1/3旅遊時間 多帶10個物品回國
而且通常賺的到城堡的忍一下就到私人島嶼了不要花冤枉錢
