Because of the 2-person limit at restaurants, we decided to order takeaway. It took us 30 minutes to go back home from the restaurant (𝟏𝟓% 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐮𝐩) and everything still taste good after the long journey (and another 15 minutes for taking photos 😅) ⁣⁣

My favourite main dish is salmon steak. The best part is the spinach, which is so juicy (the salmon steak is nice of course). ⁣⁣

For drinks and dessert (except churros), I recommend to eat/drink as soon as possible. The churro has a rich cinnamon taste. Don’t forget the strawberry sauce. Both the drinks are in rose flavour, I like Rosa expresso shakerato more, especially after a busy morning. ⁣⁣

Calgary 卡爾加利│100% Vegan 連鎖/加盟店
吃素真的是一件愈來愈簡單的事了，因為愈來愈多連鎖店出現了。Copper Branch是一家典型的西式快餐料理店，但食物素質、環境和服務都比傳統的肉食快餐要好很多！

說到加拿大特色料理，應該就是Poutine (肉汁芝士薯條)，它其實是加拿大魁北克的特色快餐料理。但很多加拿大人都不太喜歡吃，Copper Branch居然有vegan版本的Poutine，它的賣相比肉食版的更吸引，味道更是好吃到不得了，freegan旅伴吃到停不下來！

漢堡種類非常多，首推Black Bean Burger (黑豆漢堡)，他們的「肉」餅是自家研發的，有很多客人甚至想直接向他們買「肉」餅，回家自製漢堡 (可惜「肉」餅不對外發售)；Power Bowl (能量碗) 份量飽足，配料豐盛；Buffalo Wings (素雞腿) 外脆內軟，配不同的醬料都很搭。

Copper Branch在加拿大、美國、法國、比利時都有分店，光是卡爾加利就至少有三家分店囉~

Calgary│100% Vegan Chain Store
Being vegan is really easy now, because more and more vegan chain stores have appeared. Copper Branch is a typical Western fast food restaurant, but the food quality, environment and service are much better than traditional meat fast food!

Poutine (gravy cheese fries) should be a typical Canadian dish, which is actually a specialty fast food in Quebec, Canada. But many Canadians don’t like it very much. Copper Branch actually has a vegan version of Poutine. It looks way more attractive than the meat version, and the taste is even more delicious. My freegan travel companion can’t stop eating!

There are many types of burgers on the menu. My favorite goes to Black Bean Burger. Their patty is developed by themselves. Many customers even want to buy the patty directly from them and go home to make burgers. (Unfortunately it's not for sale); Power Bowl is full of ingredients and very satisfied; Buffalo Wings is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it's very match with different sauces.

Copper Branch has branches in Canada, the United States, France, and Belgium. Calgary alone has at least three branches~

DO NOT USE EXTRA HOT SAUCE IF YOU CAN"T HANDLE SPICINESS (like me...LOL!) but no worries, you can replace the extra spicy sauce with tabasco sauce and you can still enjoy homemade buffalo wings at home. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
Serves 4 pax

How to marinate the chicken wings
========
8 whole wings
0.5 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
A few dashes of white or black pepper

Sauce
===

Some cooking oil
55g butter
4 cloves of chopped garlic
125ml of your favourite hot sauce
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of salt (add more to taste if necessary)
