[g+ The Urban Harvest]
One of the most impressive dinner I had in Shanghai, was not because of its extraordinary luxury ingredients, but for its light and veggie healthy style of cuisine. Located on the higher floor of K11 Design Mall near Xintiandi, you can easily find a field-like farm right outside the restaurant inside this mall, adding greenery to the concrete Shanghai Jungle. The price range of the dishes served here was not that cheap, anyway, it is priced around RMB70-130 per dish (pasta, risotto, salad etc). For all the dishes I have ordered, I definitely had no complaint about it.
There is a plant of snow fungus placed on each table as a centerpiece, but based with a big hard rock. I couldn’t help touching it as it looked so real and made me wonder: if it is really real?
It even comes with a little notecard, writing “Do you know snow fungus gives out smell like Jasmine?” “You may slowly stew it for 20 minutes, get one piece at RMB50.” Creative.
