好高興參加咗波爾多2級莊Chateau Montrose 嘅vertical tasting, 聽住CEO Herve Berland 同殿堂級酒評人Michel Bettane 嘅講解,試咗6款不同年份嘅酒,包括2010、2005、1998、1995、1986及1975年,由後生飲起,一路感受到同一款經典酒,在不同年份所帶給你嘅驚喜!我比較喜歡1995,十分優雅,有層次之餘仍帶很多活力(仍感受到黑胡椒、青椒等刺激),充滿紫花香又帶點皮味。1975年比我想像中多味,帶甘草、乾梅、乾花、皮革等味。又再一次証明好酒係要有耐性去等,太早飲未必飲到佢最盛放嘅時刻!
I'm very happy to attend the vertical tasting of Chateau Montrose (2nd growth) and listened to CEO Herve Berland and renowned wine critic Michel Bettane on their guided tasting and sharing, to understand more on the variation in different vintages. We tried 6 different vintages including 2010, 2005, 1998, 1995, 1986 & 1975 together and started from younger vintage onwards to feel the impact & elegance in different vintages. I like 1995 the most, it's very elegant with complexity, it's still quite energetic (still has black pepper & green bell pepper spicy notes), it also has lots of violet & a hint of leather. 1975 has more flavors than I expected, with licorice, dried prime, dried flower & leather notes. It's another proof to show that good wines need our patience to wait. If u drink it too early, u can't enjoy its peak!
