Climate Emergency strike: Experiment #1
Ultimate Goal:
-to claim our air back
-to live and have better health
-to create art that’s loud enough to reach everyone and government
-to see real changes made by THE PEOPLE of EARTH, you, you and you!
-to improve quality of lives
Goal:
-to see the reaction of people in real life (office)
-to raise an awareness of the importance of nature and trees
-to provide easy solutions that we all can do on social media (online)
For the first experiment, I’m carrying an oxygen tank at the back, stating that I have better air than anyone else. The tank contains a living tree inside. I walk from work, cross the streets and junction at Asoke, where traffic is HELL all the time. Then I get to BTS to go home.
Result:
-not many people noticed me
-people were busy with their phones all the time, phones while walking, phones at the ticket machines, phones while queuing at BTS and phones inside the BTS
What can I improve for the next performance?
-oxygen tank from tree-more visual
-better narrative, better messages and better solutions
-more people?
-I have more ideas towards the climate strikes and open for suggestions too
