这是一则在南欧地区流传的传说，充满了血泪。在古代的时候，有一个家族，家族中的人因为遭受了迫害，纷纷出去逃难，但是都不幸遇难了。在死后，这些族人化成了翠雀鸟，飞回了故乡，并且伏藏在柔弱的草丛上。后来这些美丽的翠雀鸟就变成了美丽的翠雀花，每一年都会在故乡的草地上开放，渴望着自己的“正义”和“自由”。
