【 Build your own art wall! 一起將插畫帶到藝術收藏的舞台】

這次是StoryTeller第一次參加大型藝術博覽，有超過 40 間來自本地和海外的畫廊參與博覽，精選過千年藝術品。第一次遇到那麼多來自世界各地的藝術收藏家，能夠帶插畫師的作品到更大的平台讓更多人認識和購買作品，非常緊張，也非常感恩。我們相信插畫和數碼繪圖的藝術收藏價值得讓大眾認識，每一位插畫師都花了極大心力才能完成一幅獨一無二的作品，透過畫筆觸動心靈，帶給觀眾力量。這是StoryTeller從合作過的插畫師身上看到的。每一次賣出一幅作品，都感到很興奮，貼上標示售出的貼紙那一刻，真的很替插畫師高興！

這次博覽裡我們重點展出 5 位插畫師的作品，Tio、Isaac Spellman、Siuloy、Mateusz Kolek、Thomas Napoleon。5位的風格都截然不同，有著獨特的個性，每一幅都傳遞著動人的訊息。

This is our first time participating in such a large-scale art expo which showcases 1000s of contemporary artworks from 40 hand-picked local and international galleries. It is also our first time to meet so many art collectors all around the world. It is very nervous and very grateful at the same time to be able to bring the illustrator's works to a larger platform for more people to know and buy their works. We believe that the art collection value of illustration and digital drawings must be recognized by the public. Every illustrator has spent much effort to complete an unique work, touch the soul through the brush, and bring power to the audience. This is what StoryTeller has seen from the illustrators we worked with. Every time we sell a work, we feel so excited at the moment putting a sticker indicating the sale as we really happy for all these talented illustrators!

In this expo we will highlight the works of 5 illustrators, Tio, Isaac Spellman, Siuloy, Mateusz Kolek, Thomas Napoleon. Their styles are completely different with unique personalities, and each one conveys a moving message.

Come to the Art fair to meet StoryTeller these two days and take the stories home! Come take a look at their beauitful works, choose the ones you like and build your own art wall!

It feels like what we are going through presently in 🇲🇾
Despite our best intentions, the struggle can be real!

Just sharing some basic ways to cultivate ONE or little by little everyday #selfcarematters
.
1. Nourishment
Eating and drinking what you need, cheat day included.
.
2. Physical activity
Yoga and/or any other type of workout, new/existing hobbies.
.
3. Spiritual Practice
Yoga, Meditation - any forms, Breath work, Time with Nature.
.
4. Attitude
Always develop a sense of Gratitude.
Appreciate life - check in with family and/or friends.
Eg. Play/improvise secret Santa with dessert - Good one @jason_cmh82 😝

5. Work / Life Balance
This is tricky for some who work from home but do able.
Lifestyle, not all work and no play, go around the above 1 - 4.

This is an illustration from my Pandemic book, and how I feel about 2020 + been burned out more over this last year and a half than not.
And had to let so much go because of it 😴 I've only had the capacity to do the things that are really important 😩
The realization that I haven't taken any time off since January 2020 led me to carve out two weeks in August to take off for myself 🔋🔋🔋hope you're taking care of your energy too 😴😁✨

電視的控制權困擾我。

不是擔心兒子看太多電視，也不是怕他趁我不在偷看，
而是兒子在旁，我被迫一起看兒童專區——
明明遙控器在我手上，卻得配合兒子看他能看的節目。

還是小孩的時候，覺得當大人最酷的一件事，就是能隨時掌握遙控器。

實際上，只限深夜。

現在我彷彿又回到小時候，那個偷偷看電視的時光。

The control over television viewing bothers me.

I’m not worried that my son would watch too much TV or watch it behind my back.

What bothers me is that I’m forced to watch children’s shows with him.

Although I have the remote control in my hand, I have no choice but watch the programmes suitable for him.

When I was a child, I thought that the best thing about being an adult was that they had the remote controls in their hands.

In fact, I can exercise the power only at night.

I feel as if I was back in my childhood, a time when I watched TV in secret.
