I'll be performing at Sogetsu Hall on Friday, Nov. 26th.
"Daoko Live Unplugged in Sogetsu Hall".

In addition to Amimori Shohei-san (keyboard, arrangement) and Nagai Seiichi-san (guitar), with whom I have performed with in the band, I'll be performing unplugged with Shika Udai-san on cello!
Actually this is a Billboard performance which was not realized due to the spread of the pandemic, so it is exciting to think that everyone can finally see it.
Sogetsu Hall has been a place of longing for me, and I am very much looking forward to it. I'm sure it will be a live performance with a special atmosphere never seen before!

Estaré presentando en el Sogetsu Hall el Viernes 26 de Noviembre.
"Daoko Live Unplugged en Sogetsu Hall".

Además de Amimori Amimori Shohei-san (teclado, arreglo) y Nagai Seiichi-san (guitarra), con quienes me he presentado en la banda, ¡tocaré unplugged con Shika Udai-san con cello!
De hecho esta es una presentación para Billboard que no se realizó debido a la propagación de la pandemia, así que es emocionante pensar que todos podrán finalmente verlo.
Sogetsu Hall ha sido un lugar de añoranza para mi, estoy realmente deseando llegar. ¡Estoy segura de que será una actuación en vivo con una atmósfera especial que nunca se ha visto antes!

Ich werde am Freitag, den 26. Nov. in der Sogetsu Hall auftreten.
"Daoko Live Unplugged in der Sogetsu-Halle".

Neben Amimori Shohei-san (Keyboard, Arrangement) und Nagai Seiichi-san (Gitarre), mit denen ich in der Band aufgetreten bin, werde ich Unplugged mit Shika Udai-san am Cello auftreten!
Es ist eigentlich eine Billboard-Aufführung, die aufgrund der Ausbreitung der Pandemie nicht realisiert wurde, daher ist es spannend zu denken, dass es endlich jeder sehen kann.
Die Sogetsu Hall ist für mich ein Sehnsuchtsort, auf den ich mich sehr freue. Ich bin sicher, es wird eine Live-Performance mit einer besonderen Atmosphäre, die es noch nie zuvor gegeben hat!

〈Remenber Me〉是電影《Coco》（可可夜總會，或譯「可可人生奇遇」、「尋夢環遊記」、「玩轉極樂園」）的主題曲，由皮克斯製作，迪士尼影發行。
⠀　
從創作者來觀察，詞曲是由克里斯汀和羅伯特夫妻夫妻共同完成，兩人先前的作品有《摩門經》、《Q大道》、電影《冰雪奇緣》中〈Let it Go〉等。這首〈Remenber Me〉以墨西哥亡靈節故事為背景，配合電影中的敘事情節，讓這首歌曲在電影中並不只是一種形式，更讓其參與了情節，成為電影內容的關鍵部分。

這首歌曲獲得奧斯卡最佳原創歌曲獎，中文版作詞由陳少琪負責。小編在進行華語翻譯時，並非逐句翻譯，而是參酌了「陳少琪」與「百老匯中譯站」的譯本，在「請記住我」和「別忘了我」之外，選擇另起「請記得我」為題；而在內文配合電影的情境之後重譯，成為以上讀者所看到的版本。

之所以會讓這首歌曲「不只是歌曲」的原因，在於其在電影中所代表的意義，從歌詞中也能窺見一斑——〈Remenber Me〉做為一種情感連結中的「secret song」，讓其在電影裡站定一個承載記憶、連結關係的位置。

以形式上來論，「Remenber me」以祈使句起始後立刻接上「Though」的反轉，強化前句的張力；就內容而言，《可可夜總會》將以往悲傷負面的死亡形象給轉化，以較為深刻與正面的概念去詮釋，而在這首歌曲以「大調」為主的設計上便可以結合形式與內容，跳脫出「音樂性」而直取「音樂」本身的特性。

因為這些「雖然」，讓生命多了一些缺憾，在歌詞上也扣合了電影的故事架構——死亡不是永遠的分離，只是暫時再見，這讓「記憶」在敘事中有著絕對的重要性。相較於其他歌曲，雖然沒有較為複雜的情節，但若配合電影的情境與本身後設的策略，會發現其將文字本身的能量與其他文本連結，成為電影中可以串連、也可單獨存在的部分。

第三首是翻唱七零，八零年代的吉他手Lee Ritenour 在 1981年發行Rit專輯中的Is It You，這首歌另外創作演場者是Bill Champlin 和 Eric Tagg，這兩位都是在AOR，Smooth Jazz音樂類型中，我非常喜愛的歌手，都有放入我在Spoitfy - Gold Peak Tea 歌單中。

For me, many old songs I love are never out of date, even though they are not popular anymore. I think music from the 70s and 80s are so fascinating. There are many great artists and producers that I admire. To learn their thoughts and production, I decided to cover some songs. The third song, in this EP, I cover from Lee Ritenour , in 1982’s "Rit" Album - “Is It You”. I love this song with catchy guitar licks. This song is also written by Bill Champlin and Eric Tagg. Both of them were legends in the AOR and smoothe jazz music genres and I put both their songs in my Gold Peak Tea Spotify playlist.

Listening to music makes me fall in love. Writing music lets me get over who I love.

對我而言， 這三首翻唱的音樂都沒有過期， 當然還有更多陪伴我的音樂也是如此。原本的想法只是學習這些音樂人的創作想法，但接著慢慢的做了不少首。
第二首是翻唱我超級喜愛的日本創作者Hiroshi Sato，我特別喜歡Orient 和 Awakening 這兩張在70末80初，以合成器、鍵盤為主來製作的音樂，也特別有東西合璧的感覺。而Say Goodbye 對我來說是很有意義的一首歌，有許多深刻的記憶，而記憶是一道無法抹去的痕跡，它會永遠住在你心中，如果要再次說再見， 我一定會當面說Goodbye。

There are many great artists and producers that I admire. To learn their thoughts and production, I decided to cover some songs. The second song, in this EP, I cover from Hiroshi Sato, in 1982’s "Awakening" Album - “Say Goodbye”.  His music is mostly started from the synthesizer and the piano, combining western pop music and oriental style. In Awakening, he plays most of the instruments except guitar. This self producing ability inspired me so much, also like Mac Demarco and Prince. They are all my all-time favorite artists. "Say Goodbye" for me , it's a memorable song. I've heard of it before but I remembered my ex shared it with me. At the moment, I feel like we're very connected and I still think she is one of the people who has good taste in music. We didn't say goodbye in the end. I still regret that I didn't say goodbye face-to-face.
