［輕便畫具］
最近路過無印發現了可愛的小袋子💙，就地組合了我的新隨身水彩包～新的本子主題定為溫莎風景，現在仍是練習階段，大部分畫作都是在家繪畫。目標是使用有限的顏色和工具，快速描寫簡單風景～

因為只能放10隻顏色，所以挑選時花了不少功夫。最後還是選擇了較多的自然/中性色調，應該會適合風景速寫～

顏色：
Lemon yellow
Quinacridone gold
Transparent red oxide
Permanent Carmine
French ultramarine
Cerulean chromium
Serpentine green
Raw umber
Neutral tint
Payne’s grey

以下是詳細工具介紹：
1. 無印收納袋（新）：很合適的大小，中間的袋子可以拆出來；放passport size TN也剛剛好
2. 迷你水彩盒（新）：是嚴重強逼症患者也會感到舒暢的組裝，是神奇的100%剛好放到10格😍；但只能選10色真的很困難..
3. 霧化水樽（新）：用來噴濕水彩顏料
4. 水樽（新）：用來為水筆加水
5. 混色卡（新）：當只有10色時可以快速找出混色效果
6. Moleskine 水彩本/無印筆記本（新）：因為看到標籤說萬年筆適用，心想那可能可以畫水彩吧。結果：是可以的！但不要太過份的濕和重疊不要超過3次。
7. 月光莊迷你水筆
8. Rembrandt 天然毛旅行畫筆套裝
9. 其他：鉛芯筆，代針筆，擦膠

[on the go painting set]
When I walked by Muji this week, I found a lovely little pouch bag💙 that’s when I thought, hmmm... I can make a travel watercolour set with it. I also started a new Windsor themed sketchbook. So far most of the sketches were done at home, but using only the tools in the bag, as a preparation for later plein air practice.

The mini palette can only fit 10 colours.. so I took time to think carefully what should be included. At the end, they are mostly natural/earthy (rather dark) tones which I think will be nice for landscapes.

The colours:
Lemon yellow
Quinacridone gold
Transparent red oxide
Permanent Carmine
French ultramarine
Cerulean chromium
Serpentine green
Raw umber
Neutral tint
Payne’s grey

So, what’s in my bag?
1. Muji case (new) : so compact; there is a hook for hanging too; the middle pouch is detachable; it will fit the passport size TN too
2. My mini watercolour palette (new) : it’s so hard to pick just 10 colours... It fits amazingly into the pp case!!!
3. Spray bottle (new) : I think it may be useful for wetting the watercolour
4. Water bottle (new) : to refill the auto water brush
5. Watercolour mixing chart (new) : a very handy mixing guide, especially useful when you have a limited palette
6. Moleskine mini watercolour sketchbook/Muji notebook (new)
7. Gekkoso mini water brushes
8. Rembrandt travel sable brush set
9. Others: mechanical pencil, pigment liner and eraser

［旅行手帳］
開了新的moleskine sketchbook 去旅行，心得是原來不一定要買水彩本，這個紙質都夠厚了。這樣比較划算，因為頁數多很多呢！

風格也改變了一點，不再逼自己填滿每一個空間。使用代針筆交代線條也可以減少上色的壓力，有助提高速度。

敗了一套Daniel Smith (丹尼爾史密森）水彩，26色是全部自己挑選，非常容易開，特別顏色也使我感到驚歎！由於都是買了15毫升版本，估計夠用一個世紀... 所以想邀請有興趣的朋友購買分裝26 half pans 連超粉嫩的粉紅水彩鐵盒套裝。純粹是想讓大家也可以優惠價擁有（如果買5毫升26色都會很貴... ）數量極有限，想知道顏色/詳情請PM 我：）［售完了🙇🏻‍♀️］

在Madison 其間都是一個人待著，時間多得很，所以現在還是完全緊貼進度，之後到芝加哥和紐約應該要後補了～

I brought my new moleskine sketchbook with me for this trip. I found its paper is thick enough for watercolour and thus much cheaper than the watercolour book (many more pages for the same price).

I have changed my style a little bit by not filling each and every empty space on the page. Using fine liner also makes colouring easy and quick.

I splashed by buying yet another set of watercolour - Daniel Smith. I have picked my own 26-colour palette. It is so easy to wet and the special colours are absolutely amazing! Since I bought 15ml version and I suppose it would last forever, I invite anyone who are interested in Daniel Smith too to get a hand poured set from me (come together with a baby pink tin box). I think it’s a nice way to get a set in reasonable price (considering getting 26 5ml tubes should cost considerably). Very limited and please PM me for more details. [sold out 🙇🏻‍♀️]

I have plenty of time alone in Madison thus I am able to catch up. Journal for Chicago and New York would probably be done back home haha

This is also my entry to the #worldwatercolormonth2021 ! I will not be doing all the prompts, but let' say that this piece is for the "faithful" prompt. This car certainly looks like it's faithful, alright.

When we were still living outside of Tokyo, near Enoshima, on our way to the supermarket, we would always walk by a shop that was fixing and restoring old (mostly European) cars! I took a lot of photos of very interesting vehicles there! When I want to paint something a bit different from my usual landscapes, I often go for the cars folder. ;)

I just updated my smallest sketching set which contains only 6 colors:
