Welcome back to AmericanEnglish, as we continue to share tips on online meeting etiquette. This week we are sharing Tip #3: don't type in ALL CAPS. Typing in all caps is like yelling at the top of your voice. This can be irritating to others and make it seem like you're upset about something. Have you seen colleagues type in ALL CAPS? irritated = annoyed (to cause sb. to feel slightly angry)
furious (very angry)
mad雖然意思同上也是非常生氣，但並不是正式用法，
通常用在cause sb. to become mentally ill上
所以應該是furious = mad (但是指涉不同) > angry > irritated
我再補充幾個其他有關生氣的形容詞供你參考(有關於此的多得很，便只列幾個)
wrathful (extreme anger) = infuriated (V./ Adj.)= wrothful (中古英文文學用詞) =
livid (extremely angry常用於口語)
ireful (intense anger此字用於書面少用於口語)
incensed (very angry) = enraged
sore [not before noun] informal especially American English upset, angry, and
annoyed, especially because you have not been treated fairly
indignant about N → angry and surprised because you feel insulted or unfairly
treated
peeved = annoyed
piqued =[transitive usually passive] to make someone feel annoyed or upset,
especially by ignoring them or making them look stupid
