It’s been a while since I talk about the makeup steps I do to create the look!🤣 So I guess this is the day we’ll talk about it!😘

Eyeshadow
@IWE rubies eyeshadow palette W6
Using ① dark purple in inner and outer corner, then add ② gold shade in the middle. ③ The lightest shade is for my lower lash line.
Kiko Milano water eyeshadow 200 champagne
I tried using this shade to brighten up my eyes in the inner corner and the middle of my eyelid, but undertone is quite dark so I won’t recommend using it as the way I use 🤣

好久沒有介紹化妝步驟了🤣今天來講一下～IWE眼影盤裡面的顏色我放在最後一張照片！右滑去看看👉👉👉

用深紫色①手指塗抹在眼頭眼尾，金色②放在中間的區塊，最淺色③放臥蠶～

中間提亮跟眼頭打亮！（但不太適合眼頭，因為有深色底）😿

（我的版面上大家最愛的眼線）

內眼線畫起來！！
然後妝容就完成✅啦！
前面兩張照片的顏色偏淺一點，第三張照片的妝容顏色比較準！是濃烈一點的～

但是在本身膚色的範圍內的顏色叫 skin tone
如果看到一個人是曬的那種黝黑膚色，你可以說

He is very much tanned.
其實很多白人是去tanning salon曬的。我家附近方圓一公里內莫名其妙就有
兩間tanning salon，比咖啡店還多！去tanning salon還可以選篇棕或偏橘
的色調之類的。跳拉丁舞的就一定要去tan！
有一次看到娛樂新聞裡的人在談說那一陣子好萊塢的人工曬都太橘了！

如果講一個白人的皮膚很白，其實用white沒什麼不對，但是就不能用black形容
膚色深的白人。但是其實與其很直白說His skin is very white，我就有朋友
是這樣形容他自己的
I'm almost florescent white! 我快白到像螢光燈那樣白了！
（大Ｓ也這樣形容過她自己？）
影集The West Wing裡面的Donna曾經說她自己的膚色很白是這樣說的
I have alabaster skin. alabaster是很多白色雕像那種石頭

前面推文的人講到fair-skinned也是很好的形容法，歸類在白皙
亞洲人真的夠白皙也可以用到，不過講自己的話用fair-skinned就很厚臉皮
字面是漂亮皮膚的意思

但像我們亞洲人自己講膚色淺，再怎麼樣也很難用白。即使我要講我天生膚色白
大概也只能講

黃種人的膚色深用dark形容其實也沒什麼不行，但也不至於用black
His skin is so dark. Why not?
講到這裡我想到，如果顏色有量詞，那麼就是shade，就是50 shades of gray
那個shade。我也是可以講 My skin is just one shade too white. 我膚色就是
淺了那麼一點。
化妝品粉底的色號也是shade，
I have to use a foundation one shade darker for the summer.
當然在化妝品界他們的術語就更多了，還可能講到皮膚的undertone
例如 about.com 裡面這樣解釋
Your skin’s surface tone is the color that you can see on the surface
of your skin, often described as light, medium, tan, deep, and so on.
Your skin’s undertone is the color underneath the surface. You can have
the same skin color as someone, but a different undertone.
但是除非在討論美容否則一般人也很難在那邊surface tone、undertone
再來要談棕色和黑色人種的描述
這邊其實在美國就要極力避免 black and white, brown 這樣「明確」的形容詞
歐洲倒是沒這個避諱。媒體上講歐巴馬，西班牙說他是negro（在美國的看到這個
字會倒彈，非常嚴重的歧視字眼，但是西文就是黑的意思），法國說他是noir，
不是一定會用政治正確的African American
講一個偏棕色人種膚色的人的膚色很漂亮，經常用的形容詞是olive, bronze

黑人的話老實說如果不是全黑，那就是很複雜的顏色
雖然平常如果context不明確不方便說 He is black. 但是如果說
His skin is black. His skin is dark. 其實也沒有不行
我個人覺得，台灣人很喜歡談論外表，見了面先品頭論足一番習以為常。
但是在美國其實很少會在那邊講你很黑、妳很白、他很黑、他胖了
盡量不要對美國人很明確地指出他外表怎樣比較好。通常會這樣帶過
You look great!
You are looking great! （通常一陣子沒見不管怎樣都會客套說這個）
You look like you had a great time on the beach!
That's a gorgeous tan!
可能真的有人看起來氣色不好
He looks very pale. We should ask him if he's alright.
Are you alright? You don't look so good. Maybe you should take a break.
如果是要寫文章，怎麼描述膚色也是很大的學問。網路上也有不少指南，這是其中

就人種來說還有歐洲人跟黑人混 (mulatto)、歐洲人跟美洲原住民混(mestizo)
美、非、西班牙混（南美的情況，moreno）
等等非常複雜的系統
像The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao這本書的主角是多明尼加人，裡面就
很多這類關於人種膚色的形容詞
不小心就扯太多了。總之，避免談論膚色比較好 :p （毆！鴕鳥心態）
