Aquathon at Gold Coast was a great Sunday spent 🏝 ! The atmosphere was great 🎶 & the best part was seeing kids as young as 8 years old managing an open water swim of 250m and immediately transitioning to a 2km run 🏊🏾♂️ 🏃🏾♀️ . They were so cute but their competition felt way more thrilling than us adults’ 😆. I did the shorter distance as I’m recovering from my stress fracture in femoral neck, which was (250m swim +2km run) x 2 but man... it was tough🤮!!! I stopped midway during my second swim and started doing breast stroke as I felt like all my internal organs are churning into mud 💩 but I continued because the longer I take, the later I will finish 😂. So that kept me going basically🤣! I ended up second in my age group! I’m very glad I didn’t give up. Thank you to the Wan family for always guiding and supporting me! Wan kids are so cute + lek lek ¨̮
Looking forward to the next local event! I need to stay motivated too🤙🏾!
