Mind you, I am by no means a relationship expert nor do I claim to know everything. I can only share the fundamentals that kept Tim and I together throughout these 13-14 years. That’s right, I’ve spent almost half of my life with this man already. It’s been an incredible time but believe me, there have also been many difficult moments too.
Truth is, despite what you think- ALL relationships are hard work. There have been many times where we wondered if we would be better off apart but in the end, we fight for each other because we realise this love is worth fighting for despite our short comings. I want to put it out there that Tim and I do not have a perfect relationship and the simple reason is because neither of us are perfect.
I believe that if the foundation of a relationship is built in kindness, it will only thrive. In the end, it all comes down to it being a choice. Relationships are hard, full stop. Are you willing to ride out the storm together?

Don't ask me why I was doing my stretches inside my wardrobe but this was the cutest distraction ever. Super thankful that Isaac has such a loving father. I've been busy with work lately and Tim has been doing an amazing job tending his needs. I never worry about leaving them alone because I just know they always have a blast together. This is when he is most attractive to me. Not when he shaves his five o'clock shadow moustache. Not when he suits up (although he does scrub up well hehe). Not even when he cooks me food. It's been an amazing field trip with @pencilsofpromise . Not only did I got to see one of our schools, I got to learn so much about the organisation and the community. We even participated by painting one of the classrooms yesterday. Tim helped to lay the cement. Giving is not always about money. You can give your time too. Thank you once again to everybody for the support! Quite sad to leave tomorrow but hopefully I'll be back again in the future. Tomorrow I'll be off to Cambodia for another great cause. I'm still on process of rewiring my thinking and after a year and a half, the cogs are moving and I'm getting there!

So the days leading up to my surgery, I just wanted to soak up as much time with Isaac and Ayla has possible. Summer is nearing it's end and I'm so thankful for all the moments we have shared. Since then, it's already been 4 days post-op. I've been getting as much rest as possible and everything is looking great.Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes. Will update you guys soon! Sometimes it makes the world's difference to hear that you are strong and deserving of happiness from others. Thank you so much for making this girl feel so so loved.

I cannot believe that in 4 days time, I will be getting a tummy tuck. Ahh. I'm so happy I can openly talk about how I feel from here on out. I feel so much excitement and peace at the same time.
