หลังจากที่ประกาศเตรียมเปิดตัวไปเมื่อสัปดาห์ก่อนสำหรับอนิเมชั่นจากเกมดังในอดีตของ The World Ends With You ในที่สุดทาง Square Enix ก็ส่งตัวอย่างแรกมาให้เราได้ชมกันแล้วจากงาน Anime Expo เมื่อวานนี้

The World Ends With You ฉบับอนิเมชั่นเป็นเรื่องราวของเหล่าวัยรุ่นที่หลุดเข้าไปในโลกของเกมที่มีชื่อเรียกว่า "เกมยมทูต" โดยพวกเขามีเวลา 7 วันในการทำภารกิจให้สำเร็จ และแต่ละคนจะมีพลังพิเศษที่ใช้ในการทำภารกิจหรือต่อกรกับผู้เล่นอื่นเข้ามาอีกด้วย

สำหรับทีมสร้างนั้นจะได้คุณ Kazuya Ichikawa ผู้กำกับและมือทำ CG ระดับเทพที่มีผลงานอย่าง Domerica, Bakugan, Evagelion 3.0 มาแล้ว ส่วนผู้ออกแบบตัวละครก็คือคุณ Tetsuya Nomura ที่แฟน ๆ Kingdom Hearts และ Final Fantasy ต่างคุ้นเคยลายเส้นกันเป็นอย่างดีนั่นเอง และจะออกฉายในปี 2021 ครับ

โดยรายละเอียดของ The World Ends With You the Animation นี้จะมีการถ่ายทอดสดผ่านงาน Anime Expo Lite ที่ออกอากาศทาง YouTube และ Twitch ในวันที่ 3 กรกฎาคมนี้เวลา 08.00 น. โดยในตอนนี้ก็มีหน้า Twitter ที่เป็นของอนิเมชั่นเรื่องนี้ขึ้นมาแล้วด้วยเช่นกัน
