回想一下其实我们不想要什么回报。但是一个等了8年的”谢谢”真是太宝贵了。。看到他们都好好的我很感恩。。This little trip i took has been an awesome trip with lessons being taught n reminded. There were moments when my heart wanted to stray yet at that instant i am reminded for what i would be missing.. A good example was meeting this guy next to me. His name is "saiful".... I was sitting by the beach just minding my own business in the late afternoon just watching people go by.. All of the sudden i hear a voice say "baki zainal ka?" And i see this very tan scrawny figure walking towards me.. As he approached me and shook my hand he said "abang tak ingat ka? Dulu abang ngn kawan kawan abang datang rumah saya..tolong keluarga saya masa arwah ayah saya masih hidup..." A good 7 to 8 years ago my manager @alanthoo n my friend yatt from #thewestinlangkawi initiated a small project thats flew myself, @dinanadzir n a few others during the month of ramadhan to langkawi for a charity event where we raised funds for abang syafie. An end stage cancer patient in langkawi whose house was effected by the floods and was in need of financial assistance for his medical fees.. We went and visited the family spent time with them just chatting and getting to know them. I spent most of my time playing with the kids as they reminded me of my 3 monkeys at home.. When we flew out of the island, i wished them the best and prayed that the boys will grow up to be responsible adults by taking care of the family.. I have long forgotten this event. I never expected that one day any of them would come up n say thank you... I am grateful to know that the family is doing ok.. Saiful works on the beach renting out water sport equipments, his mother now has a little clothing stall on cenang beach.. N the smaller ones are still in school... 😊🙃😊🙃😊🙃I am blessed.. Thank you for the small reminders...
