I struggled with Parivrtta Upavistha Konasana; Revolved Open Angle Seated Forward Bend for quite awhile. It was tough for me as my spine is not bendy, twisting poses were killers. I couldn't lift my heart enough & was always sinking forward. Very happy to be able to see improvements in this pose! ☺️
---------------------------------------------------
This pose is a deep, seated twist that stretches the whole body, and strengthens your legs and core. It's a powerful variation of the forward fold. It deepens the stretch to the hamstrings and spine, while providing all of the benefits of a spinal twist. A spinal twist massages and stimulates your digestive organs, which aids digestion. It is also known to be therapeutic for headaches and insomnia.
