昨天有一位朋友問Robin說他很喜歡 Jimi Hendrix 和Stevie Ray Vaughan會不會弱掉了！當然不會，我們這個年紀誰不愛 Hendrix？ 如果聽Hard Rock或是Metal的 朋友👂到後來開始聽 Blues一點也不奇怪。在我們那個年代都嘛是先從 Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Troubles開始接觸白人藍調比較多，然後Blind Faith, Ten Years After, Buddy Guys， Robert Cray，Albert King，Otis Rush, Albert Collins等等！出生於Dallas 的Stevie Ray Vaughan是個中輟生，他吉他天賦真的是非常高，七歲就受到老哥 Jimmy的影響開始玩吉他，1972 年他覺得自己不是個讀書的料，就決定不念完高中就搬去Austin1975年他和Bass手Jackie Newhanse、鼓手Chris Layton還有Vocal Ann Bastin組成了Triple Threat 在德州的一些Club演出，還蠻夯的。之後Triple Threat重組變成了Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Double Troubles, 由他自己擔任主唱。1982是他生涯的轉捩點，他在Montreux Jazz Festival 的演出被David Bowei 看到了後找他進錄音室替他的1983年專輯Lets dance做Session 吉他手。替他打開了大門，之後他就跟Epic唱片簽下了合約。我為什麼會提到這一段呢？因為他的首張專輯“Texas Flood 會在台灣發行就是由我決定的，不過後來也成了玫瑰，九五那些唱片行眾多滯銷的專輯之一。當時台灣的音樂市場可以說還在啟蒙的階段。這也是為什麼Robin當年並沒有在代理唱片公司做太久而轉向廣播電台製作音樂節目最大的原因之一。很可惜SRV在1990 年8月26 日在跟Robert Cray，Buddy Guy還有Clapton等大咖一起演出後，搭乘直升機飛往Chicago路上因飛行員的疏失墜落在Wisconsin而喪生，得年35歲真的是很可惜！今晚就來聽他演奏Hendrix的Voodoo Chile Slight Return！

After exploring two fitness corners in Rivervale, the third episode of WORTH THE FIT Season 3 by Sengkang East CSC reveals a secret alley nestled between two blocks in the neighbourhood.

In this hidden alley, mah babe @clairejedrek shows us what are some of the running workouts you can do - 100m sprints with drills, shuttle run and even exciting tag team sprints you can do with a buddy!

All of these can be done in your own time, at your own convenience, right in the heart of your neighbourhood.

WORTH THE FIT Season 3 features Singapore's popular fitness personalities who creatively designed workouts in the neighbourhood of Rivervale that can be done in your own time, at your own convenience. You can get a good sweat session in, on days where you don't have access to a gym or is feeling lazy to travel out to your usual gym.

Having an one-on-one breakfast and craft session with my little superhero!

We were really thrilled to see the limited edition Marvel Avengers cereal from @kelloggssingapore which comes with a cool Breakfast Buddy cutout that can be assembled on your own.

It's been a while since we had some time alone since the little brother was born. Thus, I was thankful to have this bonding session with him while the sisters took care of the baby. Besides working on his cutting skills and having our nice little chat, he also loved playing pretend and coming up with adventures for each of the characters.

While he loves Froot Loops, I prefer the crunchy Frosties, yummy! We even have Marvel cereal bowls now, which comes free with the set. You can use the bottom bowl to contain the milk, top part to put the cereal and there is even a cute little spoon included. Swipe to see more.

Cheers to more yummy breakfast dates and hopefully we can have more one-on-one sessions before school starts!

A good warm up is key to preventing injury and getting your body ready for the movements you are going to put it through for any training session be it a sport or time at the gym or even a park run.

Here I share with you 9 Dynamic Warm up Exercises that I use on myself and also on my clients. Hope you found these helpful and do let me know if you have dynamic warmups that i should try too :)

Do each of these moves either at 10-12 reps or you can go base on time 30s for 3 sets.

Last Saturday on 19th I went to Zheng Zhou to support my buddy Jason Kui's as a drummer, that day was my 23 birthday and first time to be there, it was a fun experience for me to play as a drummer, Anthony Sun on keyboard and Chan Siu Kei on bass whose are professional session musician in Hong Kong, that's why I was so nervous haha!
