Had this incredible craving for Pho noodles and discovered Saigon Recipe had lunch deal on foodpanda. Beef Pho with a fresh spring roll and two Vietnamese spring rolls for 320 thb including local delivery. That was it, my mind was made up and not with any regrets. The soup was loaded with.. Well.. Soup. The warm broth was bold and beefy and came in abundance (always my pet hate when restaurants are stingy in broth), but this almost topped the brim of the paper bowl. The meat itself was firm but easily malleable and a little gelatinous, how it should be. The rice noodles were soft and luscious and the soup wonderfully seasoned, with additional shallots and partially pickled onions. All was needed, a sprinkling of bean sprouts, a spritz of lime and a sprinkling of fresh chili. Seriously, this is my heaven. 😇😋🙏

Omurice is a very popular home cooked meal in Japan. It is a tomato ketchup fried rice wrapped with a thin sheet of crepe-like fried egg. HOWEVER, many people dislike using a lot of ketchup, so I used Pomodoro sauce instead. YES! it works 😉

Zombie Omurice (Japanese Omelet Rice Using Pomodoro Sauce) Halloween Recipe
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 20min
Number of servings: 2
Ingredients:
300g (10.5oz.) cooked Japanese rice (short-grain rice)
75g (2.5oz.) smoked chicken or ham cut into small pieces
6 tbsp. pomodoro sauce
4 eggs
cooking oil
tomato ketchup
salt and pepper
10 sausages for Zombie fingers
cooked broccoli *if you like
Directions:
1. Heat pomodoro sauce in a frying pan, add rice and meat, mix well, then season with salt and pepper.
2. Peel the tip of the sausages to make nails, then cook. Beat 2 eggs (1 serving) in a bowl.
3. In another frying pan, heat cooking oil, spread the egg mixture and make a round sheet of egg. Before the egg is fully cooked, place the seasoned rice in the middle. Fold up both sides of the egg, then shape it using the edge of the pan. Carefully flip it over onto a plate. *You can use a paper towel to help shape it.
4. Make holes in Omurice and place the sausage fingers. Decorate with ketchup and garnish with cooked broccoli if you like.

豬肩肉 100g,砂糖 1 tbsp,蒜蓉 1 tbsp,生抽 3 tbsp,麻油 1 tbsp,胡椒粉,洋蔥 1/2,雞蛋 2,紅蘿蔔 30g,鹽,紫菜 1,飯 1,雞蛋,紅蘿蔔,豬肉,生菜,蒜
做法:
1. 將豬肩肉,砂糖,蒜蓉,生抽,麻油,胡椒粉拌勻,醃10分鐘
2. 落鑊炒豬肩肉,洋蔥
3. 炒蛋
4. 炒紅蘿蔔,用鹽調味
5. 在紫菜上加入飯,雞蛋,紅蘿蔔,豬肉,生菜,蒜,捲起,切成小件

- 100g Shoulder Meat (For Bulgogi), 1 Serving Cooked Rice, 1/2 Sliced Onion, 3 Sheet Sliced Lettuce, 30g Sliced Carrot, 3 Piece Sliced Garlic, 2 Egg, Salt, Kimchi, Ssamjang
- Bulgogi Sauce: 1 Tbsp Sugar, 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic, 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce, 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil, Pepper
▪ DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix 100g of shoulder meat (for bulgogi) with 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp minced garlic, 3 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp sesame oil and pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
2. Add seasoned bulgogi and 1/2 sliced onion to a heated pan and stir-fry.
3. Add cooking oil to a heated pan and pour 2 beaten eggs to make scrambled eggs.
4. Add oil to pan and stir-fry 30g sliced carrot with a pinch of salt.
5. Add 1 serving of cooked rice on top of dried seaweed paper. Add scrambled eggs, stir-fried carrots, bulgogi, 3 sheets of sliced lettuce, 3 pieces of sliced garlic and roll it over.

韭菜拌菜:辣椒粉 1 tbsp,砂糖 1.5 tbsp,生抽 1 tbsp,魚露 1 tbsp,梅汁 1 tbsp,蒜蓉 1 tsp,麻油 1 tbsp,芝麻 1 tbsp,韭菜,洋蔥,
五花腩,泡菜,蒜,飯
做法:
1. 將辣椒粉,砂糖,生抽,魚露,梅汁,蒜蓉,麻油,芝麻拌勻
2. 加入韭菜,洋蔥拌勻
3. 煎五花腩,加入韭菜拌菜,泡菜,蒜,享用
4. 剩下的材料與飯一併炒也可以!

1. In a bowl, combine 1 Tbsp red pepper powder, 2 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp jin soy sauce, 1 Tbsp fermented shrimp sauce, 1 Tbsp plum extract, 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, 1 Tbsp sesame seed salt, and marinate 3 handful garlic chive, 1 handful shredded onion with hand.
2. Cook pork belly, kimchi and garlic chive side dish.
3. Add 1 ready-to-eat rice, kimchi, garlic chive side dish in a pan and start cooking. Add seasoned seaweed paper.
