傳統日本摺漆（擦漆）技法除了可以保護木器外亦可以讓木紋更加突出。要完成整個工序最少要重覆五次，待乾透後還要多做四次。記得老師經常提醒要帶上手套以防止接觸漆之後的過敏反應。
Fuki urushi is a technique to apply urushi on objects. It can highlight the beauty of the wood grain and it also provides a surface protection. Normally it has to repeat 5 times of painting and sanding process. You can see there is see a big difference between with and without urushi application. My teacher always reminds me to wear gloves when working with urushi because it can cause an allergic skin rash.
