I chose to paint hydrangeas or hortensia in Dutch on this goat because I think hydrangeas is an iconic flower of Giethoorn. Everyone who visits Giethoorn will awed and takes pictures of the hydrangeas and every house 🏡 in Giethoorn will have at least one hydrangeas in their garden.
Bokken Parade is organized by https://ilovegiethoorn.nl/ where villagers or participants in fairytale village Giethoorn (meaning goat hoorn/ 羊角村)pimp goats and set them at their locations. These goats will be at different location forming a “goat parade” cycling 🚲and walking 🚶🏻♀️route . If you scan the QR code you will see the route and following this route you can choose 3 best goats by filling in cards retrieve and submit to any participants, to be one of the 7 winners to be on the “ Gondelvaart” boat parade summer of 2020 in Giethoorn.
