I don't even know what to call this series but starting out with "Ep __" helps to track my progress.

The format will be same same with the camera-on-top, following me as I take pictures and will be followed with discussions about topics/philosophy/ ideas about photography and filmmaking. Or life. I don't know yet.

This episode, we'll be discussing on lenses on street photography and why lens selection matters. Would love to know what lenses you use!

(As you can probably tell, I am terrible at this. Let me know what I am doing wrong so I can improve myself!)

** I cut down quite a lot of explanation cause I thought nobody would watch, but if at least one person enjoys longer form content, I'll do it! Gives more room to learn and share too.

Sex in the city by KinWing Edas Wong

We like so much the series "Sex in the city" by KinWing Edas Wong because it shows that the world around us provides many ideas that can be linked together to provide a reading key to understand the idea we want to represent. In that series there is a funny tribute to sex, something that belongs to the human being and that in the case of the series "Sex in the city" has been cleverly applied to the street photography.

Edas Wong is a street photographer based in Hong Kong. He defines himself as a day-dreamer and love imagination. Street photography is an excellent medium that allows him to express his art. "Actually", he says, "there are many surreal scenes which happen around us that I just go outside, stop playing smartphone, observe and then click. It's rather simple".

As many of you know, I particularly enjoy street photography the most. It's imperfection and exploration that just makes the whole process so enjoyable. And it's also a genre which I read the most about. The ethics, the techniques, the stories—I can't get enough of it.

In this video, I share with you my personal tips and ideas on getting not just good pictures but rather pictures you can be proud of. In its essense, street photography is candid portraiture of what is around you in its perfectly imperfect nature. And so, it's not about getting pictures than are technically amazing, it's about enjoying the process and most importantly creating images that you can be proud of.
