Hands up if you are guilty of over ordering your food! Well I am guilty of it because I always want to try everything on the menu but can't finish all of it (heh heh, that's how the name misstamchiak came about).
Do you know, Singapore threw away 788,600 tonnes of food last year. I’m not sure if you get the magnitude of things here, but 1 tonne is 1000kg — which makes it close to 800 million kg of food waste. Now, you see what I’m talking about?
