We attended our first yacht party on Ximula Sail and it was simply amazing! We ate, we drank, we partied, we swam, we did a yacht jump, we tried standup paddleboarding, and for a whole Saturday afternoon, we just relaxed.
Yup, we managed to get away from the kids for those few hours even though it took some struggle and tears from the littlest. You know, it's only the second time in nine years that we've been away from the kids in the day so as to get some couple time. Yup, we really don't like to trouble our parents to take over our parenting job because we see it as our responsibility. But I have to say it's also important to remember that we are not just parents, we are also hubby and wifey and a strong marriage builds the foundation for strong family ties.
It's gonna get easier as the kids get older and are better able to look after and entertain themselves. So, I am quite certain our couple time will only increase as the years pass.
This was a fabulous opportunity for us to enjoy, chill out and connect with our friends and I have to earnestly thank them for inviting us and making it such a fun, memorable session for everyone.
