‘ฮาวทูทิ้ง’ เป็นหนังที่มีคนถกเถียงกันมากจริงๆ ในโลกออนไลน์ หลายคนชอบ หลายคนไม่ชอบ ส่วนตัวสำหรับหมอ ต้องบอกว่าหนังเรื่องนี้ทำให้เก็บไปคิดต่อหลายวันเลย หมอชอบทีเดียว

หมอรู้สึกเข้าใจจีน เพราะจีนคล้ายๆ คนที่มีปัญหาสุขภาพจิตหลายคนที่เคยคุยด้วย คือ จีนมี Defense mechanism แบบ Immature (หมายถึงกลไกป้องกันทางจิตใจที่ไม่ค่อยดีนัก)
ตรงนี้เป็นเพราะประสบการณ์ตอนเด็กๆด้วย
อันหนึ่ง คือ Identification with the aggressor
จีนทำกับพี่เอ็ม แบบพ่อตัวเองทำเลย ที่ทิ้งจีนกับครอบครัวไปตอนเด็กๆ แบบไร้ความรับผิดชอบ ทิ้งให้ครอบครัวต้องทนทุกข์ทรมานต่อเนื่อง แม่ก็ดูไม่โอเคอย่างแรง ร้องเพลงซ้ำไปซ้ำมา ไม่ยอมไปนอนเตียง ทิ้งเปียโนของพ่อไม่ได้
เธอทำเป็นไม่แคร์ไม่สนใจพ่อ แต่มันไม่ใช่หรอก เธอแคร์พ่อมาก เจ็บปวดไม่ต่างจากแม่ แต่เธอใช้กลไกป้องกันทางจิต ปฏิเสธ ไม่ยอมรับความรู้สึกที่เกิด เพราะมันอาจจะเจ็บเกินทน และโดยไม่รู้ตัวเธอส่งผ่านความเจ็บปวดที่มีให้กับแฟนอย่างพี่เอ็ม ทิ้งเขาไปแบบทิ้งขยะ ไม่สนใจ ไม่ติดต่อ ไม่บอกด้วยว่าทำไมถึงทำแบบนั้น

หลายคนบอกว่าจีนเห็นแก่ตัวจัง ไม่แคร์ใคร จริงๆแล้วเธอก็แคร์อยู่ อย่างฉากที่ตามคืนของเพื่อนๆ หรือตอนที่หารูปในฮาร์ดดิสก์ให้ หรือตอนที่พูดขอโทษเพื่อนสนิท
แม้ว่าไม่ถนัดนัก จริงๆเธอก็แคร์อยู่นะ แต่หลายครั้งชอบปฏิเสธความรู้สึกตัวเอง โดยเฉพาะเรื่องพ่อนี่แหละ

จีนเริ่มรู้สึกเจ็บปวดจริงๆ ร้องไห้ เข้าใจความรู้สึกตัวเอง หลังจากที่เธอโทรศัพท์หาพ่อ ถามพ่อเรื่องเปียโนเก่า ว่าจะทิ้งไปได้มั้ย (ซึ่งหมอชอบฉากนี้มาก ไม่ได้ยินเสียงพ่อ แต่รู้ว่าที่พ่อพูดแต่ละอย่าง คงไม่แคร์อะไรใดๆ ทำให้คนดูรู้สึกเจ็บไปกับจีนด้วย)
จริงๆ แล้วเธอก็รู้สึกแย่กับการที่พ่อทิ้งไป แต่ที่ผ่านมาเธอปฏิเสธความรู้สึก ไม่ยอมรับมาตลอด
อย่างน้อยๆ จีนก็คงโล่งไปมาก หลังคุยกับพ่อ เพราะเธอน่าจะเริ่มเข้าใจตัวเอง และคนอื่น ยอมรับความเจ็บปวดได้มากขึ้น
น้ำตาของจีนตอนจบ คงอยากจะบอกคนดูว่า จีนรู้แล้วว่า ตัวจีนรู้สึกอย่างไร และรู้แล้วว่าพี่เอ็มเจ็บปวดแค่ไหน

ถ้ายอมรับ เข้าใจมันได้ ก็จะก้าวต่อ Move on ต่อไปได้
จะทิ้งก็ทิ้งได้ แต่ต้องทิ้งอย่างมีสติ อย่าทิ้งแบบไม่รับผิดชอบ และต้องทิ้งแบบ Healthy ด้วย อย่าทิ้งด้วย Immature Defense และการใช้กลไกทางจิตที่ไม่เหมาะสมบ่อยๆ ส่งผลให้เกิดปัญหาสุขภาพจิตได้
