＊8/14-8/15 (Sat & Sun) New York Transit Museum Reopening
因為疫情而暫時關閉的紐約捷運博物館New York Transit Museum這週末要重新開放了！這裡是我認為紐約市CP值最高的的博物館之一，只要十元門票就可以回顧很多紐約市的歷史，和參觀充滿歷史的復古地鐵。尤其適合帶小朋友去參觀。必須先在官網訂票。

正在皇后區植物園進行的台灣蘭花展還有週六週日兩天可以去參觀喔！有興趣的朋友把握機會來參觀這一年一度的活動。

這星期六是今年最後一次紐約夏季無車日活動，民眾將可以從Brooklyn Bridge沿著Lafayette Street, Park Avenue，一直到UES的Central Park享受無車的運動休閒樂趣。四個休息站都有不同活動可以參與。不要錯過了！

美國國慶日長週末活動反而不是太多，朋友要看East River(Between 23rd St & 42nd St)上的煙火的話還是記得要戴好口罩，盡量保持好社交距離。

大家有看到Lady Gaga 在總統就職典禮上演唱美國國歌嗎？雖然很多公眾活動開場前都會演唱美國國歌《星條旗之歌》，但是這首歌可是出了名地難唱！當《星條旗之歌》於1931年被定為國歌時，《紐約先驅論壇報》就曾評論這首歌的「歌詞沒人記得住，曲調沒人唱得出來」。不過這也讓美國國歌有了很大的詮釋空間，讓演唱者能夠以自己獨特的方式進行演繹。《星條旗之歌》現已成為一首鼓勵人們表達個性和表達團結的歌曲，同時展現了美國對得來不易的自由的重視。一起來欣賞Lady Gaga在拜登就職典禮上的演出！
