แม้ว่าจะผ่านมาเกิน 10 ปี แต่ภาคต่อย่าง NEO: The World Ends with You ก็ยังคงถ่ายทอดเอกลักษณ์และแก่นของเกมต้นฉบับออกมาได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยม พร้อมกับต่อยอดแนวทางไปสู่ภาคใหม่ แม้ว่า Gameplay จะต้องยกเครื่องใหม่หมดจากความแตกต่างของ Platform และหลายๆอย่างที่ทำให้ตัวเกมดูน่าเบื่อไปอยู่บ้าง ทั้งการต่อสู้ที่แม้ว่าจะสนุก ลื่นไหล แต่ก็ดูซ้ำๆไปซักหน่อย การนำเสนอเรื่องราวผ่านตัวหนังสือและบทพูดมากมาย ก็ทำให้ดูยืดเยื้อ แต่ด้วยบรรดาตัวละครที่มีเสน่ห์ แก่นของเนื้อเรื่องที่น่าสนใจ และฉากหลังที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ บวกเข้ากับ Art Style สุดโฉบเฉี่ยว Soundtrack ที่ไพเราะ มันส์สะใจ ก็ยังเพียงพอ ที่จะทำให้แฟนๆ ที่ชื่นชอบภาคแรก มาสานต่ออารมณ์ของ The World Ends with You ต่อได้อย่างที่รอคอย
