Similar to the Aldo fight, I woke up to this news. Just have to say this one was a war.

Many similarities to a fight that took place years ago. Back then,I was a huge fan of Pride Fc 's lightweight and lightweight tournament champion, Gomi Takanori. Gomi has some similarities with Conor, both are southpaws and are unorthodox in their own ways. Gomi faced someone that I was unfamiliar with, Nick Diaz. The brother of Nate Diaz was vulgar and I was shocked to see when he flipped the bird in Pride. Needless to say, I was introduced to the power of the Diaz brothers, they could really take punishment and dish their own later in the fight. Nate had this similar style with his brother, slow forward boxing style with a good chin, both like and are not afraid to trade with strikers. Gomi was submitted in round 2 with a "gogoplata".

9 years later, "Mata leao" today. Props to both Conor and Nate!

Tiger Muay Thai fighter and 17 x Muay Thai, MMA, K1 and kickboxing champion Valentina Shevchenko​ is making her UFC debut at FOX UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Cerrone 2 in Orlando, Florida United States on December 19th.
Shevchenko started training at age 5 and began competition at age 7.
Shevchenko(9-1) has been a member of our fight team for the last few years and has stepped up on short notice to take on #5 ranked bantamweight Sarah Kaufman(17-2). Kaufman is the former Strikeforce champion and has wins over Miesha Tate, Liz Carmouche and and Alexis Davis.
Headlining the card is the highly anticipated lightweight championship battle between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone. Also on the card is #2 heavyweight Junior Dos Santos taking on Alistair Overeem and a lightweight battle between Nate Diaz and Michael Johnson.

Hyun Kim(19-3) a veteran of the DEEP promotion has beaten some of the top contenders including Nate Diaz, Matt Brown, Erick Silva and T.J. Grant Hyun Kim has stepped in the UFC cage 14 times with a record of 10-3-1 and is also a 4th degree Judo black belt.
Dong Hyun Kim will square off against Josh Burkman in a welterweight clash at UFC 187. The already stacked card is headlined by UFC championship title shots, light heavyweights Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson and middleweight bout Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort.
