=================================
--------------------------------------------------
(sorry for) having kept you waiting
(sorry to) keep you waiting
--------------------------------------------------
ミーティングに遅れた上司が“Sorry for having kept you all waiting. Let's start!” 部下が遅刻した場合は“I’m so sorry that I am late.(遅れてしまいすみません)”と言ってから、“I was caught up in another meeting.(他のミーティングが長引いてしまいました)”のように遅れた理由を伝えるのが一般的です。
一方、“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
<例文>
Sorry for having kept you waiting. The doctor is ready for you!
Sorry to keep you waiting. The doctor will be with you in a minute.
A: I have been waiting for quite awhile. When will Tom be ready?
B: Sorry to keep you waiting. Tom is currently in another meeting. He will be with you in a minute.

Spot the difference (Swipe left) ⬅️
Sometimes when a person or a place grows, the difference can be very minute and hard to notice. But if you look closely, you’ll see growth everywhere. Just like how @fivelementshabitats has grown in the last two years.
I must admit Fivelements really opened at the worst times possible in Hong Kong - first it was all the protests in 2019 and second it was the pandemic in 2020.
I remember having to cancel classes in 2019, or finish classes early, worrying if my students and the responsible staff here can get home safely. And in 2020 - well, we all know how we missed 1/3 of the year in the studio space for yoga practice.
Part miracle, part perseverance and I guess part luck, we managed to pull of 2 #mentorshipworkshop s, 1 inversions workshop and dozens of classes. And Fivelements is still standing with its 20+ teaching staff and many team members that make this an oasis in Causeway Bay.
So I’m grateful that you’re here. Happy 2nd anniversary.
Look forward to meeting another 20 keen new yoga teachers this weekend!

@tenaga_nasional Record Breaking Night supposed to be held on 13th Oct 2020 in conjunction with Hari Sukan Negara. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the event got postponed.
We then decided to do it on 12th January 2021. Then again, MCO 2.0 was being announced to start on 13th January 2021. So we have no choice to postponed it for the second time.
Finally, we had a meeting with Technogym Malaysia on mid March when the conditions were better in Klang Valley and decided to do it on 9th April 2021.
With each time of postponement, I need to train on the machine for at least a month prior to the date of record breaking night.
Stair climbing on the machine is much tougher compared to the actual stairs due to the fact that I need to step on every step of the machine (20.6cm) and there are only 3 available steps, it is very challenging to do double steps when there is a change on the pace.
By stepping on each and every step on the machine, it tax me more and in efficient way of climbing stairs. But looking at the bright side, it is much more challenging and I accept the challenge.
The good thing about the stair climb machine is that you do it at a much control environment. So you can set it up at a cold environment whereby it will help to improve your performance as more blood flow to the working muscles than flowing near to the skin to dissipate the heat.
Throughout the 1 hour journey, it was tough compared to the sport that we do normally as I have to peak 3 times for the 3 records.
I did better for the first two records than what I was targeted. I took the risk to start at a much faster steps per minute as I strongly believe that I will be able to nail it.
When comes to the final record, it was the most challenging one as I need to climb one mile height in an hour, and that's about 500 floors.
The last 10 minutes was super challenging as I started to feel the cramp on both my calves. With the cheers from the crowd and the supports, I managed to progress the pace and push the last 2 minutes to end it!
I am so so glad to accomplished the mission at last after few rounds of postponement and time to move on for next challenge!

4. Soloist
5. 專家
