極度寒冷之地的激戰逼近!!!這次將介紹融合「Resident Evil」與求生遊戲緊張感的對戰射擊遊戲『Resident Evil UMBRELLA CORPS』的另一個新地圖「南極基地」。此外, 遊戲將於PS4及PC平台上推出數碼下載版, 而亞洲版更會全球獨家發售PS4實體Blu-ray版 (日本及歐美均為下載版), 亞洲實體版零售價格為港幣268。
【全新地圖(MAP)「南極基地」登場】
「南極基地」的地圖以『Resident Evil Code: Veronica』中登場的UMBRELLA公司的研究設施作為舞台, 在t-Veronica事件結束後, 那個地方就一直廢棄著。自定義的戰士將加入南極基地的戰鬥, 還有以代表『Code: Veronica』主角Claire的"Made in Heaven"作設計的圖紋!
【控制技術戰場】
「南極基地」是一個超過三層的多層次結構戰鬥場地。它的特徵是除了水平方向, 還延伸到垂直的上下方向。設有可通往上下方向的出口, 更容易採取偷襲戰術。此外, 還有了不少掩護點及可上升的牆壁和階梯, 是本作最好的技術戰場設計之一。
【瘋狂實驗-實驗模式(THE EXPERIMENT)再登場】
「南極基地」也將作為實驗場地, 於可品味『UMBRELLA CORPS』世界觀的單人專用遊戲模式「實驗模式(THE EXPERIMENT) 」中登場, 用高額報酬被僱的傭兵玩家可在該場地繼續進行瘋狂的”實驗”-「實驗模式(THE EXPERIMENT) 」。
從更危險的喪屍(特殊變異體)中取得DNA及讓感染者看不見裝備者的裝置Zombie Jammers(喪屍干擾器)的運行測試等任務, 在極度寒冷的土地上, 均可進行這些完全沒有考慮實驗者生死的苛刻實驗。
【結合戰術選擇最適合的武器】
於殘酷戰鬥中求生的必需品-武器是系列的主角之一。這次我們將介紹新登場用於近距離戰鬥的新裝備。把握不同武器的特徵, 選擇最適合的武器上戰場吧。
1. 槍騎士近距離戰鬥版(Lancer CQBZ Ver. ) - 與突擊步槍 (Assault Rifle) 擁有同等威力的改良型卡賓槍。它也適用於遠距離狙擊。
2. 狼毒(Wolfsbane) -它已被細化為瞄準頭部的戰鬥用武器。雖然古老, 但即使是現在也有很高評價。
3. JP 格拉納特 AZ (JP Granate AZ) - 著重機動性而結實的槍。雖然威力和貫通性能不能令人滿意, 但使用它需要一定的技術。
4. 黑杰克自訂式(Blackjack Custom) - 配備了定制部件的手槍。雖然擁有高度連射的機能, 但彈藥會很快用完。
5. 鷹爪(Talonhawk) - 改良喪屍鎬(ZOMBIE BEIL)瞬間強化機能「高熱鎬」(Heated Brainer), 持續時間較長, 可連續打倒多個對手的強化類型。
6. CQBZ專用裝備 - 以喪屍干擾器 (Zombie Jammer) 為首, 遊戲設有很多“CQBZ（以喪屍戰作假設而創建的戰鬥風格）”用的裝備。分配給僱傭兵的裝備包括以破壞喪屍弱點脊髓為目的而開發的近距離攻擊武器-喪屍鎬(ZOMBIE BEIL), 以及作為應付喪屍咬的措施和防彈用的誘餌肉盾(Tactical Shield)等裝備。
【Creature file : 喪屍/Zombie (特殊變異體)】
於病毒蔓延的封鎖地區內, 除了喪屍及名為「Cerberus」的怪物外, 還有突變喪屍。這種特殊變異體是由感染者變成的喪屍再經歷突變的個體。本作的封鎖地區受到各種病毒的影響, 而這突變到底是由t-病毒, 還是c-病毒造成的還未明確。擁有比普通喪屍更強攻擊力及持久力, 加上跟其他物種的特殊變體一樣, 還有令周圍的Zombie Jammers(喪屍干擾器)失效的能力。如果不小心接近它的話, 玩家也會被其他的喪屍發現而立即陷入困境。這種喪屍已確認會出現在「實驗模式(THE EXPERIMENT) 」及「多重任務(Multi-Mission) 」內其中名為「特殊遺傳基因獵手(SP DNA Hunter) 」的任務中。

Get ready for battling at the extremely freezing field! We would like to introduce you a brand new map “The Antarctic Base” in battle shooting game “Resident Evil UMBRELLA COPRS”, integrated by “Resident Evil” with tense survival feeling. Besides, the digital download version is going to release on PS4 and PC platforms, the PS4 package version with Blu-ray disc is going to be released worldly exclusively in Asia (only digital download version is available in Japan, Europe and the US). Retail price of Asian package Blu-ray disc version is HKD 268.
【New Map -「The Antarctic Base」】
The Antarctic Base, set within the Umbrella research facility, was never repaired after the deadly T-virus incident witnessed in Resident Evil Code: Veronica. The base remains in its heavily destroyed state, featuring a vertically expansive play area covering three floors that allow players to endure a thrilling fast-paced round of hide and seek gameplay. Perhaps the most tactical map in the game, players can utilize cover points, interwoven ventilation ducts, and ladders to unleash deadly surprise attacks on their foes.
【Crazy experiments – “THE EXPERIMENT” comes again】
“The Antarctic Base” also becomes the experiment area, existing in “THE EXPERIMENT”, a single-play game mode with “Resident Evil UMBRELLA CORPS” world vision. With high reward, players can keep on their crazy experiments in that area. This is “THE EXPERIMENT”.
Getting the DNA from the more dangerous zombies (“Mutated Zombie” creature), avoiding infectors from figuring out the Zombie Jammers, and other missions. At this extremely freezing area, harsh experiments are allowed to carry out by left the life and death of participants behind consideration.
【Choosing the most suitable weapons to fit the tactics】
Weapons, necessity to stay alive in the cruel battles, always play one of the main roles in the series. Following are going to introduce the brand new weapons for Close Quarters Battles. Getting familiar with features of different weapons, pick the most suitable one for the battles.
1. Lancer CQBZ Ver. – To compare favorable with Assault Rifle, modified Carbine. Also suitable for long range sniper.
2. Wolfsbane – A fighting use weapon refined to target the head of enemies. Ancient but still with high recommendation.
3. JP Granate AZ – A solid gun focuses on maneuverability. Certain technical is needed and there’s still rooms for improvements on power and performance.
4. Blackjack Custom – Pistol with equipped custom parts. With high running fire function but ammunition run out easily.
5. Talonhawk – Refines “Heated Brainer”, an instantly strengthen function ZOMBIE BEIL. Intensive type with longer duration, can overthrow multiple opponents continuously.
6. Equipment for CQBZ - Besides Zombie Jammer, numerous of equipment for CQBZ, fighting style assuming zombies fight as background. Equipment allocated to players including ZOMBIE BEIL which is a CQB attack weapon for destroying the spinal marrow of zombies, Tactical Shield for handling bite by zombies and avoiding bullets, etc.
【Creature file : Mutated Zombie】
Also being added into the shooting mayhem are the special “Mutated Zombies” that can be found in the single player Experiment Mode’s Antarctic Base map and in the Multi-Mission Mode’s SP DNA Hunter ruleset. Featuring advanced states of mutation, there are many viruses spreading across the infected zones in Umbrella Corps and it’s unclear whether the T-virus or C-virus is responsible for these blood thirsty enemies. Harder to defeat than normal zombies, not only are they unaffected by the Zombie Jammer, but they are also able to render the Zombie Jammer temporarily ineffective against other creatures near the player.
