Solo parenting days are made easier for me, thanks to KidZania Singapore!
Yup, the kids had such a blast yesterday and I'm just so glad that the 3yo can now take part in nearly all the activities with his sisters. They made pizzas, fought fires, cooked soup, cleaned windows and cared for babies together. Phew, that means I do get the opportunity to rest when they are busy 'working', if not for the fact that I deem it as a must to try to capture those cute moments for keepsake.
KidZ & Zoology takes place till 30 June so do plan for a visit during the holidays as the City buzzes with animal encounters and wildlife-related activities. Through the Wildlife Trivia Hunt - my kids truly ❤ trivia hunts and are always determined to find every answer - we learnt that elephants are scared of bees, a rabbit's gestation period is 30 days and the most common type of hamster is the Syrian hamster. Each completed quiz entitles you to 10 kidZos and a special @evianwater mineral water bottle.
The kids were also happy to take part in fun activities in the Main Square, including drawing animals based on their distinct patterns by MuzArt HQ, matching animals to their respective habitats and learning about conservation efforts by ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre, and colouring their own pangolins by Milkcananime. See more in my stories.
One of the highlights was the SDC Animal Encounter where we had the chance to come up close with some pretty macaws and cockatoo and hear their stories - two of them were 30 years old, much to our surprise, and another 7yo one was wary of strangers as he was once used as a magician's pet. The kids saw how they could talk and even cleverly use their beak and tongue to crack open sunflower seeds, which was really awesome to watch.
It was such a fun day out for the kids and I think they can't wait to be back again to try out more new jobs and look forward to the next exciting theme too. Till our next visit! 👍 Thanks for having us, KidZania Singapore!
