Have you been to the central region in Japan before? I did went to Gifu, Shirakawago, Fukui, Kanazawa and Toyama area few years back and I remember I shared few diff itinerary on my blog before.
Recently I received a sample itinerary of how you can travel to all these prefectures ALL IN ONCE within a 5 Days Itinerary. Yes it’s a cheat sheet to make all lists into 1 trip. As you guys know one of my travel goals is to visit all 47 prefectures in Japan and I always fully utilize the benefits of JR Pass for foreign tourists. On this blog post, I’m going to share a sample of itinerary for your reference to plan on your upcoming winter trip in Central Japan region.
So in this blog post I’m going to throwback some of my previous trip and adding new to-visit / must-do itinerary & bring you to another virtual tour to Central Japan region by using the Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass too. On our recent trip to Japan, we dropped by Kyoto for a day totally unplanned, and just went around on a bicycle to enjoy Kyoto.
We mainly explored near our hotel, Nest at Kyoto (Nishiki), which is just 2 minutes away from the famous Nishiki Market.
Really luxurious accommodation in the city, service was great and the staff were really helpful. Highly recommend it!
