It was a goal without a plan that happened.

Thought I needed a beach getaway and an unexpected thought of getting a freediving license struck me. Best decision ever!
After some pool trainings, we set out for Redang and before I knew it, I was out in the sea wit the best instructor @dolphinleebl and some really amazing dive buddies @wayne_wayne23 & @sohasohala . Those who know me would know how afraid I am of the ocean and how bad my seasick gets. But this trip, my mind decided to do bewildering things that amazed me.
@dolphinleebl guided me so well making me realise that fear is only as deep as the mind allows. He showed me how much I was capable of with just one breath.

Never have I felt this ‘free’, never have I been this calm and focused, I was in a complete different state of mind. It was truly a silence from within.

For those who wish to try freediving, find the right coach, be around the right dive buddies, have no expectations and perhaps you might just find this other self you’ve yet to discover 😉
