When Ice Cream Lab hung out its banner at Lower Ground Floor of Gurney Plaza a couple months back, people were wondering how the brand is gonna introduce its ice cream. Fast-forward today, Ice Cream Lab is officially opened and turns out that it specializes in offering Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream. All orders are made on the spot… in case you get very excited to see the foggy effect of Liquid Nitrogen. The flavours are basically fixed but the prices can be quite steep for tiny little scoops. We had the Pistachio flavour… creamy and milky the way we like with a balanced sweetness. The addition of crushed Pistachios added a little bit of nutty texture to the creamy concoction. We enjoyed it a lot and would love to have more if not because of the price tags. Nevertheless, it can be a worthy occasional indulgence.
