Just did my first ‘Tangas Kering’ earlier today. Not sure what that is? It is a vaginal steaming to strengthen your uterus and to cure your wound faster.
I also would like to share why I find @adrujaspa better than your average makcik bidan :
1. They offer more manpower. And you have choices for your own masseuse.
2. They go for massage courses so they are well trained. They would know why and explain to you why you’re uncomfortable at some of your body parts. Your veins might be twisted so they will help you fix that. Sounds scary but rest assure it’s safe Inshaallah.
3. Professional. Punctual. Attentive.
4. They won’t rush to finish the session with you. They have time to wait till you’re all done, in case you will need to feed your baby in between.
5. They will bring their own mattress, herbs and other things related so you won’t need to prepare anything cause they have it all. And all paid for in the package. So getting Tanamera post-natal set is unnecessary. Unless, if you’re only booking your masseuse for a few days then you’ll need the set for the rest of your confinement days without your masseuse around.
6. They will teach you tips and tricks to cure your wound faster and also tips on baby. And prepare a special drink to help with it.
7. They will help you bathe your baby and teach you your baby’s most comfortable position to bathe without crying. Also massage your baby when needed.
8. They will come to your house and your meal is freshly cook by them at your house. But you’ll need to shop for groceries. They will help you list out what you need to buy.
9. They will help you wear your body binder (bengkung) and put on firming paste for fast slimming.
10. They will put on calming paste (pilis) on your forehead to avoid wind.
11. They will help you shower with herbal wash to get that natural glow on yourself (untuk menaikkan seri).
12. They will prepare some herbal drink to shrink up your ‘peranakan’ and boost your milk supply.
13. You’ll get to have a deep sleep during traditional sauna (diang).
14. They make their own massage oil which is mixed with Young Living Essential Oil that will reduces stretch marks.
