Happy Monday, everyone! 😁

What have you guys been up to during this period of time ?

This is me working from home on weekdays and trying to write my FYP thesis on weekends, key: trying, I don’t really know which one’s harder now. 😪

So here goes, I finished my semester and have started a new one via virtual learning provided by my university. I’m really grateful for it as I could leave for home to be with my family in Penang and could still complete my studies at the same time. Kudos to that, @help_uni thank you!
Besides, I managed to secure an internship with a firm as well. As students, we all know that internships are great as it allows us to experience what it’s like to be in the real world. Not gonna lie, it was tough trying to land an internship, especially at times like this. From sending out applications to waiting for calls to doing Zoom interviews to following up to finally landing one. I was just waiting anxiously, but thank god, the wait was worthwhile, My current employer even allowed me to #workfromhome so really, Phew!

I know there’s a lot of final year students who lost their jobs or internships during pandemic which makes me even more thankful for mine. To those who are reading, hang in there, it’s going to be really tough for the #classof2020 but don’t give up, Keep trying! Please do know that there’s true value in working hard the conventional way and eventually getting where you want to be. Slowly but surely! xx
