Let me tell you about a roller coaster ride I had in 2018. Being crowned as Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 is an impulsive decision that turns out to be something so beautiful/ wonderful/ memorable and whatnot. Everyone back home in Penang was surprised, even I, myself.
This platform has brought me to where I am today. Being at various prestigious events, walking my first KL Fashion Week, meeting and working with different personalities, meeting girls from around the world and most importantly, using my voice and influence to speak out on matter that is close to my heart and it has led me to launch my anti-cyberbullying campaign #daretoshout with my main partner Digi . Not only I get to raise awareness about cyberbullying, I’ve also had the opportunity to speak to young girls and talk about my journey. I’m truly grateful as this is what MissUniverse is all about, being a role model to young girls out there.
