Hôm nay thầy Đạt giới thiệu đến các bạn 1 chữ rất là cool luôn. Chữ “buff” làm danh từ có nghĩa là 1 người rất đam mê và am hiểu về 1 lĩnh vực nào đó. Bạn có thể kết hợp chữ này với khá nhiều từ ví dụ như [ history / movie / computer / photography / opera ... + buff ].
Trong ielts speaking, bạn có thể dùng từ này mở đầu câu trả lời để tạo ngữ cảnh cho bài nói tự nhiên hơn, có thể ý chính của bạn rất đơn giản nhưng mang cụm này vào thì nghe sang chảnh lắm luôn. Ví dụ hen.
🍀 I’m many things but a history buff is not one of them, so actually I don’t know much about history, nor do I spend a lot of time learning about it. Basically history just doesn’t intrigue me at all. (I’m many things trong trường hợp này có thể hiểu là tôi có nhiều mối quan tâm/con người tôi có nhiều khía cạnh nhưng tôi không quan tâm lịch sử)
