Life is dynamic, and so are our interests. From loathing to loving art & crafts (out of desperation to fill up Asher’s play time) and recently, I enjoyed various DIY projects around the house.

I made this 0 cost play kitchen using a wooden box from a PR kit. Removed the wooden lid and nail it to the back of the box to create a “backsplash”. Old CD rom as gas stove and birdnest bottle’s cap as control knobs. Utensils and dinnerware from my kitchen. Most importantly, it is so small and compact that doesn’t take up much space and my son loves it 😂😂😂

We have never tried resin art before and were fascinated to see how the liquid resin became a glossy, solid surface through the process of curing. In this case, we shone a UV light on it for a merely a few minutes and it was an interesting learning experiment for the kids.

Each kit comes with a step-by-step guide and materials to create your own Resin Art, including the resin, colouring, crystal flakes, UV flashlight, cotton buds, toothpicks, working plates, mixing cups and frames. Hello! Do you get your nails done or do them yourself? I've never been good at doing nails because my mom does nails, so I was spoiled until I moved out ? But with the extra time at home during quarantine last year and all salons closed, I finally decided to buy a kit to try doing my own #diynails! I started learning by watching YouTube videos and a friend suggested I try out Makartt, which quickly became my fav brand for nail extensions. Pretty full-circle to be working with them now! Learning how to do my own nails was probably the most useful thing I did during quarantine...if you haven't tried using a DIY nail kit, I would highly recommend it ?
