My twitter war is on mothership lol...
Here's the background for the drama:
SJW named Dan Arel called someone a rapist. The man's name is Michael Shermer (famous atheist) and he had a rape accusation that was not proven. When asked to provide evidence for calling someone a rapist, Dan replied "I believe victims of rape".
Twitter then brilliantly responded by all accusing him of rape, and I was one of the earliest to do it.
By the next day the hashtag #danarelrapedme was born and hundreds have described how he raped them.
Dan told everyone to report and block me for a rape accusation but everyone told him they "believe victims of rape".
Dan didn't like it when people all acted like him and locked his twitter in a temper tantrum.
Ps: it was made very clear I was joking
Pps: This twitter drama has an underlying heavy issue so I will talk a little more about it. Yes rape victims get my utmost sympathy, but the accused deserve due process too. Do not mistake my stance on innocent until proven guilty for lack of empathy for rape victims, the two are not mutually exclusive. I believe rapists deserve castration and child rapists deserve death. The severity of the punishment therefore also requires way more consideration to the truthfulness of claims. If you want rape sentences to be a slap on the wrist then sure, we can take victims' words for the truth, no need for evidence or investigations and just fine rapists a couple of thousands. But if you want severe sentences, there needs to be due process. I want to kill child rapists but a wrongful death penalty is abhorrent so strong evidence needs to be present to convict. Imagine one day if your brother gets accused of rape and he says he didn't do it + there is no evidence, but everyone believes he is a rapist because everyone is like Dan Arel.)
Yikes.
