今天讀到兩個月前左右的文章，主要在講香港的問題，
因為還是想要讀一個完整的主題，
但是殊不知我選一個超少文章的主題「international business」，
所以只能選擇兩個月以前的新聞來看！

今天想跟大家分享的字：「curtail」
這個單字不難，但最近在看文章的時候，一直看到它，
意思：to limit something or make it last for a shorter time
例句：
用於商業：The Federal Reserve raised interest rates slightly to curtail inflation.—Cambridge
用於一般生活：The lecture was curtailed by the fire alarm going off.—Oxford Dictionary
用於國家：Illness and injury have curtailed his international ambitions.—Times
本文例句：If Hong Kong loses its special status for good, these firms could get hurt in two ways. First, if the United States does anything to curtail debt or equity transactions in Hong Kong by Chinese firms, foreign firms based in China that collect significant fees for facilitating these transactions would see their top line shrink.
