請重視犬貓絕育的重要性。我看過八個月大就子宮蓄膿的母貓；塔克早在剛滿五個月、不曾發情的時候就結紮了，現在七歲身體健康。

常聽說的「發情後再紮」、「兩歲後再紮」、「生過一胎之後再紮」、「反正不出門所以不用紮」，甚至是「公貓在發情前結紮會使尿道太窄而容易尿結石」……這些都是沒有根據的說法！公貓的蛋蛋和尿道的寬窄沒有關係，在食物中給予足夠的水分，才是預防尿道結石的根本方式。
