❌ 1. DU HỌC KHÔNG CẦN IELTS ĐƯỢC KHÔNG?

Được! Bạn có thể qua đó và học 1 khóa tiếng Anh bổ trợ (tại nước bạn du học) cho tới khi đạt yêu cầu.
Nhưng? Học phí mắc (tính bằng tiền đô ko phải VND nữa rồi + mất thời gian, ít nhất là 6 tháng - 1 năm)
Tốt nhất để tiết kiệm thời gian, chi phí → tốt nhất nên học và có IELTS khi còn ở VN.

❌ 2. VẬY DU HỌC CẦN BAO NHIÊU IELTS

→ TÙY TRƯỜNG (chính xác thì xem trên Website của trường)
→ TÙY NƯỚC (ở đây mình sẽ nói Mỹ, Úc, Can)

I. DU HỌC MỸ

THPT: Đối với chương trình này, học sinh không bắt buộc phải có điểm IELTS. Thay vào đó, các bạn sẽ trải qua bài thi SLEP (The Secondary Level English Proficiency) và đạt khoảng 45 điểm trở lên là có thể đạt yêu cầu.

Cao đẳng, trường nghề, dự bị Đại học: từ 5.5 trở lên.

Đại học: khoảng 6.0 điểm là mức at least, còn trường danh tiếng, tỷ lệ chọi cao thì sẽ có thể là 6.5.
+ Đại học bang Michigan (IELTS 6.5)
+ Đại học bang Arizona, Florida (IELTS 6.0)
+ Boston University School of Public Health: tối thiểu 7.0
+ Đại học Colorado – Boulder: 6.5, trong đó kĩ năng viết không dưới 5.5.
+ Với những trường thuộc khối Ivy League, mức điểm được yêu cầu thường 7.0, cao hơn một chút so với đa số các trường yêu cầu mức điểm 6.5.

Sau Đại học: Với trình độ cao hơn thì điểm Ielts yêu cầu cũng cao hơn, tối thiểu từ 6.0 và có thể lên đến 7.0 (nhưng cũng tùy ngành + tùy trường)

+ Ví dụ, Đại học California – Los Angeles (UCLA) yêu cầu mức điểm IELTS tối thiểu 7.0; tuy nhiên Thạc sĩ ngành Khoa học Xã hội (7.5) và Kỹ sư Sinh học (8.0).

Nhìn chung lại, với cả bậc Đại học và Sau Đại học, mức điểm chung được yêu cầu bởi các trường trong top 200 thường từ 6.0 đến 7.0, với những trường có tỉ lệ cạnh tranh cao thì mức điểm này tăng lên là 7.5. Tốt nhất nên check trên website trường.

II. DU HỌC ÚC

THPT: 5.0 đến 5.5.
Cao đẳng hoặc dự bị đại học: 5.5 - 6.0.
Với bậc đại học và sau đại học: 6.0 đến 6.5.

Đối với những ngành học đặc biệt như Y khoa, Giáo dục hay Luật,... một số trường có thể yêu cầu band score IELTS tối thiểu tới mức 7.0.

Bên cạnh yêu cầu về điểm tổng quát của 4 kỹ năng, nhiều trường đại học còn yêu cầu thêm cả điểm tối thiểu của từng kỹ năng. Ví dụ như ngành Luật của trường University of New South Wales (UNSW) yêu cầu không kỹ năng nào dưới 6.0 và điểm overall tối thiểu 6.5.

III. DU HỌC CANADA

Trung học: IELTS không bắt buộc, tuy nhiên, nếu có thêm điểm band score IELTS 5.0 thì đó là một điểm cộng khá lớn khi làm hồ sơ du học.

Đại học: overall 6.5 và không có kỹ năng nào dưới 6.0.
Cao học: Với chương trình thạc sĩ tại Canada, tối thiểu điểm IELTS của bạn phải đạt từ 7.0 trở lên và không có kỹ năng nào dưới 6.0.

Chương trình Du học Canada (SDS – Study Direct Stream) - miễn chứng minh tài chính: có bằng IELTS từ 6.0 (tất cả các kĩ năng)

Muốn xin PR (Permanent Resident: thường trú nhân) THEO CHƯƠNG TRÌNH FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER thì ĐIỀU KIỆN ĐỂ MỞ HỒ SƠ EXPRESS ENTRY, TÍNH ĐIỂM CRS thì Tiếng Anh (IELTS General Training) hoặc Pháp: đạt ít nhất chuẩn CLB 7 (ít nhất 6.0 mỗi skills).

Với những bạn mong muốn đi du học hoặc đang chuẩn bị đi thì việc có IELTS là một điều cực kỳ quan trọng bên cạnh việc chuẩn bị hồ sơ.

Bạn nên nhớ thời gian học IELTS ít nhất từ 3-6 tháng và bằng IELTS chỉ có thời hạn 2 năm, cho nên, nếu bạn muốn tiết kiệm thời gian và tiền bạc cho mình, hãy có trong tay tấm bằng IELTS càng sớm càng tốt nhé.

REQUISITION FOR SANCTION OF THE PRINCIPAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS OF THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (THE “HKSAR”)

本年三月初,中國香港特別行政區政府漠視香港人強烈反對提出《逃犯修訂條例》草案。 漠視民意導致多次大規模示威、 遊行和集會。 香港警方多次鎮壓使局勢進一步推向複雜，特別是最近中國武警集結深圳威脅香港。公眾人士特別是前線記者目擊警員對市民及示威者殘酷動武，更不堪的是警方竟縱容親政府黑惡勢力，濫用暴力襲擊回家途中的示威者及途人。
In early March of this year, the HKSAR Government disregarded a strong opposition from the Hong Kong citizens with regard to the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance (Amendments) Bill with a result of assemblies, big marches and demonstrations held in Hong Kong since June last. The on-going and repeated suppression of the Hong Kong Police has pushed the situation further into complexity, in particular a large number of Chinese People’s Liberation Army convoy in the Shenzhen boundary, threatening the people of Hong Kong. The public, in particular the frontline reporters, witnessed the Hong Kong Police had exercised brutal forces in violent clashes with the protesters and the public. In a more intolerable situation, the Hong Kong Police connived at pro-government gangs in permitting abusive and violent attacks on the demonstrators and passers-by who were on their way home.

這次反《逃犯條例》修訂議案運動引伸了香港市民五大訴求 :
The movement of this Extradition Bill had led to five major demands of Hong Kong people as follows:

1. 「撤 回 逃 犯 修 例」
Complete withdrawal of the controversial Extradition Bill.
2. 「成 立 獨 立 調 查 委 員 會」
Establishment of an Independent Commission of Inquiry.
3. 「不 檢 控 及 釋 放 示 威 者」
Cease prosecution and unconditional release of all arrested protesters.
4. 「撤 銷 定 性 集 會 為 暴 動」
Retraction of the characterization of the movement as “riot”.
5. 「重 啟 政 改 落 實 雙 普 選」
Re-initiate political reform to implement universal suffrage.

為數不少的現職香港政府官員，甚至前高級官員如前政務司司長、前財政司司長、前公務員事務局局長、前立法會首席議員等都接二連三地相繼站出來發聲、參與集會、甚至遊行要求香港特區政府回應市民訴求，停止警方濫用暴力和非法拘捕。
A significant number of current government officials and ex-senior officials, such as the former Chief Secretary for Administration, the former Financial Secretary, the former Secretary for Civil Service, and the former Chief Councilor of Legislative Council, have come forward to voice out and even marched in protest against the bill, calling for the HKSAR Government to respond positively to the demands of the public, and the Hong Kong Police Force to stop their abuse of violence and illegal arrest on the protesters.
