Xem Phim gì và Xem như thế nào để giỏi Tiếng Anh?

Ở đây có ai mê phim không? Mình biết các bạn nghe chán rằng xem phim để học Tiếng Anh rồi, nhưng ở post này mình sẽ chỉ vài mẹo hay và danh sách phim để các bạn vừa xem vừa thưởng thức vừa cải thiện ngoại ngữ.

Trước hết, phim không được làm ra để dành cho những người học Tiếng Anh mà phim làm ra để dành cho những người nói Tiếng Anh vì thế chúng mình chịu khó làm quen với tốc độ nói và mạch nhịp nhanh của nhân vật trong phim nha, nhưng đảm bảo rằng ngôn ngữ nói thực tế ngoài đời như thế nào thì trong phim như thế đó, nên mới nói xem phim là tiếng anh lên trình đó.

1. Xem lại phim bạn đã xem.

Chọn phim bạn đã biết rồi, lúc xem lại thì mình có thời gian để tập trung vào ngôn ngữ, cách nói của nhân vật hơn là cốt truyện, tình tiết. Hãy xem lại phim mình thích nha, và có thể bật phụ đề Tiếng Anh cho bộ phim đó ( với những bạn dùng Netflix ).
Lúc xem mình thấy một câu/từ/cụm rất hay nhưng xem xong thường sẽ quên luôn từ đó. Nên xem lại là cách hay để mình lưu tâm và nhớ từ đó hơn.

Dù chỉ là một từ thì cũng hay viết vào nha các bạn. “Một bút chì cùn vẫn hơn một trí nhớ tốt“. Học được 1-2 từ khi xem được một bộ phim là giỏi rùi.

2. Nói theo một vài câu thoại của nhân vật.

Có vài chỗ, sau khi nhân vật nói, họ sẽ dừng lại nhìn nhau, đăm chiêu, hay suy nghĩ, nhạc nền, vân vân và mây mây. Đây là lúc chúng ta nói câu họ vừa nói, nói theo họ, trời ơi đảm bảo luyện được phát âm, ngữ âm giọng điệu một cách hay ho nhất.

Mình vẫn nhớ xem một bộ phim mà bà vợ mắng ông chồng xong quát lên “Don’t ever do that“, mà mình nói đi nói lại với cái giọng điệu đó luôn.

Xem những phân cảnh trên phim trên Youtube
Với những bộ phim hay và hot, hoặc bình thường cũng được, luôn có những phân cảnh cut ngắn trên Youtube. Mình có thể tận dụng và xem những video này, bật phụ đề tự động nếu có và xem có từ nào hay mình đã bỏ lỡ trong lúc xem cả một bộ phim không. Có thì viết vào hén.

3. Đọc review phim! Tại sao không?

Mình học được vô vàn từ vựng không chỉ về phim ảnh mà còn nhiều chủ đề khác ( vì nội dung phim đa dạng vô cùng ) nhờ việc đọc review. Sau khi xem xong một phim, các bạn có thể lên đọc review về phim đó, họ còn giải thích những chi tiết bạn không hiểu, ý nghĩa đằng sau, tóm tắt lại nội dung phim , đánh giá cốt truyện, trích dẫn câu thoại hay. Qúa hay luôn nhỉ.

4. Xem những cảnh hậu trường và phỏng vấn dàn sao.

Phải nói là cực giải trí, có những bộ phim hành động ngầu man mà hậu trường các ông bà diễn viên đùa nhau, chơi lầy lội đáng yêu vô cùng. Xem những cảnh này học được mấy câu hội thoại này.

Xem hậu trường để thấy họ sản xuất một bộ phim xịn xò như thế nào và thường mấy video này còn có phỏng vấn đạo diễn, biên kịch, diễn viên,... nên chúng mình cũng luyện nghe được nhiều.

5. Danh sách phim Âu Mỹ mình yêu thích trên Netflix. Hãy tranh thủ xem khi có thời gian ở nhà nhé:

- Chillings Adventure of Sabrina

- The Big Bang Theory

Phim ngắn cho những bạn không thích xem cả phim dài, mỗi phim này tối đa 15 phút thôi, tẹt ga nhé:

Mình không xem phim ngắn nhiều nên list hơn hạn hẹp các bạn thông cảm hén.

When and how did you get started in Cosplay?
- I've started cosplaying since 2015 (it took me nearly 1 year to search for it before attending). By some of my friends.

What was your first Cosplay?
- Kaneki Ken.

What was the most difficult character?
- For each of the cosplay project, I always want to have everything perfect (but sometimes it wasn't). I think once I want to plan to cosplay any character, I have to take a good preparation so I never feel easy for any of them. So, there is no most difficult, just more difficult.

What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to?
- On the early days, I only cosplayed the male characters and never thought of the female ones. But in 2017, I tried putting on some female costumes and felt pretty good, then started to cosplay those. But now I think I'm gonna change my mind one more time and back to cosplay male characters again. Most of my next cosplay projects are Disney princess and Arknights' operators.

What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay?
- I always start with the wig. Even when your costume is suitable with your body, your failed wig will ruin everything, believe me. Your face shows emotion and catches everyone attention so you have to be beautiful/handsome all the time (even when you character isn't, but it's rare), and a bad haircut will take your face to the hell. So I choose to get a best wig first.

Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations?
- I'm not talented at all. I don't have ability to do anything that can help my cosplay projects done. So I got some trustable people who help me do that (with money for sure).

Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why?
- I just have tried to makeup by myself for 3-4 months. Before that period of time I always had to find some makeup artists to help me with those. And now I realize that I just have to find my favorite makeup artist (but I still try to learn myself, I like Chinese interior cosmetics, they are afordable and qualified for a begginer like me).

What are you listening to?
- Classical music.

Favorite Movies?
- Thriller is my favorite type of films.

Favorite Animes?
- I liked a lot, one of them is Death Note.

Favorite TV Shows?
- Every music show.

Is there a scene from a anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it?
- This is the first scene of Jessica Rabbit from the film "Who frame the Rabbit Roger?".

Books?
- Gone girl, The girl with Dragon tattoo,...

Games?
- Onmyoji, Touken Ranbu, Identity V, Arknights,...

Beverage?
- Yogurt, water, coffee.

Fast Food/ Junk Food of choice?
- Yes.

Candy bar?
- Sure, but not sweet chocolate.

Favorite Breakfast cereal?
- I live in Vietnam so I have my breakfast with "Banh Mi".

Is there something not going on in the cosplay world that you would want to see or is there something you would want to change?
- There are a lot of challanges during my cosplay road. I just want to take cosplay as a hobby, not a job. You know, hobby is something that we want to do but job is something we have to do.

What was your favorite toy growing up?
- No certain one.

Who is your biggest character crush and why?
- Jessica Rabbit. I love everything from her.

You enter a warehouse. There is little light, but you are able to find your way around. The sound of music draws you to a corner of the warehouse. There are FIVE GHOUL CLOWNS, playing a dancing video game. They have razor sharp teeth and scary weapons. Magic can not affect them; they sense your presence and turn facing you. They run to you to attack. Time to fight! What character would you want to be to defeat them and how would you handle the situation?
- Saitama (One Punch Man). His best skill, punch.

If you had to be chained with a character for one year, what would be the character and what would you do?
- Kashuu Kiyomitsu.

You can have dinner with your favorite character. And at this dinner you may ask one question. Who would be the character and what would be your one question?
- Jessica Rabbit. "How much for the next time?"

What's number 1 on your bucket list? (Something you want to do before you leave the planet).
- Lose weight.

What advice would you give to people getting started in Cosplay?
- There's no need to be too serious on this fields. Take it as your hobby, and respect yourself and your beloved characters.

When and how did you get started in Cosplay?
-I’ve started cosplay in 2014

What was your first Cosplay?
-Len ver Senbonzakura. I used to cosplay two more characters before him, but the project is not perfect, because he is the first character I completed perfectly at that time from wig to costume so I decided to let him be the first thing character I cosplay.

What was the most difficult character?
-Kogitsunemaru, because my face not too manly & handsome to cosplay him, so I have a little bit problem with the photoshoot & pose.

What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to?
-I like lovely, energetic, kind-hearted girl and cool, clever, handsome boy :’3 so this is my planning of 2019: Ram Bunny, Rem Nyanko, Nico Yazawa ver Marine, Todoroki Shoto, Xiao Shou Bing Liang, Neo queen Serenity.

What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay?
-I research all of picture, notice every scene my character I like appear, remember the typical actions or habits of the character I want to cosplay. Save money, and then order the costume + wig and all necessary things because I’m not very skillful.

Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations?
-Hmmmm, have your costume done first, and then order your wig and everything necessary :’3.

Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why?
-I’m okay with any brand excepted Poind’s 

-I’m listening to USUK, C-pop, J-pop also K-pop & V-pop :’3

-Harry Potter - this is an amazing movies and novel I’ve ever read!!

-Love live, Boku No Hero Academia, TSURUNE: KAZEMAI KOUKOU KYUUDOUBU, Kuroko no basket, Re:zero, etc

-Animal Planet, Discovery, etc

Is there a scene from a anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it?
-Yes, of course, the scene that I have never forget in the Korean movie name Train to Busan. That scene about the father jumps off the train lead to Busan where zombie disease has been controlled by the government and the army after he being bitten and infected with the zombie virus. And in the meantime, all he thought in his head was a memory when he was carrying his daughter when she was born and grew up.

Books?
-I really like reading novel. If I have free time, I’ll spend almost my time to reading so I thing I can not mention all the book I like.

Games?
-League of legend, Love Live, Touken Ranbu, Yume Oukoku To Nemureru 100-nin Oujisama, Onmyoji, etc

-Peace Tea ❤.

-Research about the character you gonna cosplay carefully, not because that character hot, and then you cosplay it because it hot without knowing about that character.

-Doll!! Aww I really like doll and I want to have a huge family BJD doll!!

-I wanna be chained with Sakamoto kun (Sakamoto desu ga) and learn how to become perfect like him.

-Aw I wish I could have dinner with Sesshomaru sama from Inuyasha, and I will ask him:’’How do you feel when you fall in love a girl with human blood – the blood you have always despised for a long time.

-Become a witch!!

What advice would you give to people getting started in Cosplay?
-Love that character, cherish them by find out their story, and you can succeed with your favorite character! Let’s have fun together ❤ !!!
