Via coincidence, I was about to cook a Portuguese-Porto "Francesinha" since I can't visit Macau 🇲🇴 🇵🇹 to eat one, but I suddenly saw it pop up on @where_is_alfie 's IG Story 👀. It turns out【Duck & Waffle Hong Kong 🦆】is selling one briefly for their 1st Anniversary Celebration !

Usually the sauce is proprietary and lends a soul to the final Character..! Reminds me also of a Welsh Rarebit on steroids. So overjoyed to discover this on the Duck & Waffle HK celebratory menu, since this is usually on the London late night menu! I think I ordered it on last day it's served here, but wished they can sustain it longer & ideally serve with some fries on the side! 😬😝

Their signature HACHI Toast Bread is the must buy item here. It tastes delicious eaten on its own, or with cold cuts, cheese, or as a toast topped with butter and jam.
