Day 1: Let’s begin by appreciating the cleanliness of Cochin or also know as Kochi. It was surprising for me but at the same time, I was quite impressed as well. I spent half of my first day at Guruvayur temple which is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Guruvayurappan located in the town of Guruvayur in Kerala, India. My journey to this temple was filled with beautiful sights - one of the lots is the houses that I came across. The architecture is remarkable; it’s a beautiful blend of modernity and uniqueness. It was different for the kind of houses I’ve seen to date. As for the main attraction, the Guruvayur temple’s architecture is a typical example of Kerala's ancient treatises on architecture or commonly known as "Vastuvidya". It says that the structure has been standing tall for about 5,000 years old. I am blessed to have been able to step foot in this magnificent complex and would definitely recommend visiting this temple. Adding the extra joy to my journey is this super comfortable Anarkali by Bhava - if you travel a lot then you know how important it is to wear something comfortable.
