🏴 Welsh Rarebit with Black Stout Beer & Melted Cheese. I have never had a great Rarebit outside of the UK, but at its peak I would rate it above a 🇬🇧 Grilled Cheese or a Bechamel-like 🇫🇷 Croque Madame in recipe concept. The often gratinated sauce on top can be an art in itself due to the mixture of sauces & ingredients, & hopefully artisanal Cheeses & Bread 🖼, reminding me sometimes of a softened Rouille toast or a Gruyere toast atop an Onion Soup too. Here I could get my occasional Welsh Rarebit fix for HKD $68 ~ They also make a proper Cullen Skink soup here so it’s playful enough for UK philes..
