我記得我第一次看到這個影片自己覺得很感動 好啦，承認看的時候又流點小淚啦..
I remember the first time I saw this video and how moved it made me feel. I'll admit it, it made me tear up.
那時候，四年前，感覺台灣的社會越來越前進
Then, four years ago, it seemed like society in Taiwan was getting more and more progressive.
再來下次有這種感覺是因為台灣的政府出來說要修改法律來把結婚平等的權利給所有的國民
The next time I felt that way was when the government came out saying that the law had to be changed to allow for all citizens to marry regardless of gender.
那時候，兩年前，感覺全球最特別的國家不只會提供簡報給每一位住民了
Then, two years ago, it felt like, in the whole world, this most special of places not only provided health care to all citizens as a right,
又超級方便了
was not only becoming increasingly convenient,
又很現代化了
was not only very modernized,
那時候又要把每一位住民，無論什麼背景或什麼不同對於人生的看法
but, at that time, was also going to give all residents, regardless of their own personal takes on how life should be lived,
機會跟自己愛的人結婚，擁有一樣的權利。
the chance to marry the person they love and have the same rights.
真是很神奇～ 真是很開心～

Recently, I've been wanting to cry a little too, but it's because that right still has not been afforded to all residents in Taiwan.
這一件事一直在被拖，拖這麼久平常問別人知不知道最近法律到底在哪一個階段大家也不是很清楚
The whole process has been put off about as long as it was supposed to be allowed to, and should be close to completion, one would assume. However, whenever I ask anyone if they know any details when it randomly comes up in conversation, they are usually as clueless as I am, and that doesn't happen often...
不知道是媒體不夠公開還是過程還沒到一個雙方能同意的結果
I'm not sure if this is because of a lack of media, or if it's because the two parties haven't been able to come to an agreement that both sides of the isle can agree to yet.

在去年十一月選舉之後雖然很多要投的選擇跟這個有關，但是也沒有很正確很清楚消息說明選舉的結果會怎麼影響台灣的未來...

Parents know and the children know the parents know, but no one dares to break the facade. Through time, family members grow further apart and the awkward silence becomes even more difficult to break. But at the end of the day, parents still love their children unconditionally and just want them to be happy. As for the children, sometime it is taking that extra courageous step and being real...because pretending just takes too much work.
In tandem to all the protests in the streets and the legal quests for equality, something just as important needs to take place in the home: truthful and heartfelt dialogue to bring the family closer together. It is not the easiest thing to do, and sometimes going to see a movie is the best way to thaw that thickened ice. Come hand in hand to a movie at The 2nd Taiwan International Queer Film Festival - TIQFF.

2015年，第二屆 台灣國際酷兒影展 （2nd Taiwan International Queer Film Festival 2015）配合同志運動在90年代也逐漸萌芽而茁壯，2000年開始有了官方資助的同玩節。这次，舉辦第二次同志文化節，在今年邀集現有的亞洲酷兒／同志影展建立「亞洲酷兒影展聯盟」来自全亞洲最具代表性的多元性別主題影展的同志影片。
而荣幸的Berg李承运演出的《偷‧情 The Second Life of Thieves》也包括在 2015 酷兒影展 TIQFF I 亞洲之窗 Asian Delight 之内。
