I recently went to the sampling event of Tomatin whisky, a truly undiscovered whisky for all the Single Malt lovers out there!

The Tomatin 12 Year Old is smooth and silky, having been matured in traditional Scotch Whisky, ex-Bourbon and ex-Spanish casks.
.
Soft, smooth and sweet, the Tomatin 14 Year Old is benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously hled port for around 50 years.

The Tomatin 18 Year Old is a truly world class malt. Matured in traditional oak casks and first-fill Oloroso Sherry butts, this is undoubtedly an elegant whisky.

Then, there is Tomatin distillery's new no-age-statement release, Tomatin Legacy. The time spent in Bourbon barrels and Virgin Oak casks brings a light sweetness to The Tomatin Legacy.

Very happy to be the speaker for Tomatin whisky at Whisky Stables, sharing this Highland whisky Distillery from Scotland since 1897 to everyone, and tasting 5 Tomatin whiskies together, including Legacy, 12year old, 14 year old, 18 year old & Cu Bocan, and paired with BBQ food including grilled steak, chicken wings and fries. Some guests like the complexity of 18yo more, others like the elegance of 14yo, and some like the peatiness of Cu Bocan. As for me, I like the dried floral and red fruit notes of 14yo! What a wonderful night! Cheers! 🥃🥃😀

This made the bak kut teh sweeter! But herbs from the bkt left a more prominent bitter end to the Tomatin 12.
