In this giving month of Ramadan, let’s do something meaningful.
It's been a tough situation for everyone because of MCO, and with that said, I am taking this initiative with The Giving Bank to contribute what I can.
I need you to help me understand better about the battles that you know. It can be a disease or rare disease that your close contact has, or a cause or a community that needs help but am not fully aware by many. Share that with me, by leaving a comment on the post shared on TGB Instagram.
We will be helping out people in need, and reach out to them to help gain more awareness on the particular battle they are going through.

伴随了我9年的玻璃餐桌，现在有了新主人。他们是向驻马联合国难民署注册、拥有难民证的难民，也是 Zerowaste Campaign 的受惠单位之一。
当初是想买个新餐桌，换一换心情，毕竟从MCO到CMCO，再到RMCO然后又回到CMCO，待在家久了，就会想换一点布置，才不会sien（福建话“郁闷”的意思）。
于是参加了Flexis Haus 提倡的 #Zerowaste Campaign ，通过他们，把旧家具捐给有需要的弱势群体（慈善机构也是受惠单位之一），再把换取的500令吉现金礼券，拿去购买新家具，就有了现在这一张大理石餐桌+五张西班牙和比利时进口的防污布艺餐椅。
其实，一来省了我付罗里载走旧餐桌的交通费；二来，买了新餐桌，吃东西的时候，格调特不一样，吃什么都觉得好吃（这是我自己觉得的啦，开心最重要哈）；三来，给旧物重生的机会，不止帮到人，还能让它的价值得以延续下去。
*后记：对我们来说，也许这只是弃之可惜的旧家具，但是对于一个必须和另外两个难民家庭，共挤在一间只有800平方尺房子的难民家庭来说，这餐桌等于给了他们空荡荡的小空间，一个像“家”的角落和温度。
*根据人权委员会的统计，26%的难民月入低于五百令吉。
