10/10與波蘭 Unsound電子音樂節合作的線上計劃 « AFTERLIFE網路來生-ev20f1 » ，上半場帶來台灣實驗、電子、樂團等創作者的跨時空展演，除 NAXS corp.各成員與Meuko! Meuko!帶來新的創作發表之外，包含來自4AD音樂廠牌Gang Gang Dance的前成員Dutch E Germ個人計劃、台南的聲音藝術空間"聽說Studio"創辦人張惠笙、旅美台裔薩克斯風音樂家Alex Zhang Hungtai、台灣草根迷幻樂團落差草原WWWW、混沌金屬樂團破地獄。當代藝術家陳天灼也將帶來最新劇場作品“Trance”的錄像呈現。下半場結合其他東亞電子音樂創作者Sonia Calico、Hyph11E、ASJ、33EMYBW、Leevisa、Mars89，東南亞地區的音樂製作人Gabber Modus Operandi、Wanton Witch等連續接力的DJ SET，共同組成一場虛擬匯演的線上音樂祭。AFTERLIFE期望透過電子遊戲介面，尋找在網路與數位時空之中，感官沉浸與跨地緣身份的可能性。

AFTERLIFE是由台灣新媒體藝術團隊NAXS CORP(涅所開發)發起、並與台灣實驗電子聲音創作者Meuko!Meuko!共同策畫、製作的線上展演計劃，以「網路多人連線系統」與「基於遊戲引擎的即時3D環境」為技術核心，在原生數位空間中建構一個持續演化、生長的虛擬展演介面。以「網路來生」為支點，自亞洲的宗教、生死觀、科技泛靈論提煉想像空間，邀請觀眾進入NAXS團隊創造的九層虛擬場景，在後感染的時空之下，探查網路科技社會中的訊息神話、數位身體的生死輪迴。

Presented by Unsound x Naxs corp. & Meuko! Meuko! —— An Online Reincarnation for the Networked Afterlives.

AFTERLIFE(網路來生) is an online MMO game, an experimental space, and a curatorial project as part of @unsoundfestival 2020. Inspired by reincarnation and the space-time structure from Buddhism tradition, the special 6 hour and 30 minutes long live program includes a showcase of Taiwanese experimental artists, a pan-Asian showcase DJs and producers, and a video screening.
Initiated by Taiwan-based new-media art group NAXS Corp and co-curated with experimental music producer Meuko! Meuko!, AFTERLIFE is an experiment to open an interspace between post-human myths and animism cosmology, to reinvestigate the life, death and rebirth of our digital bodies.

🇵🇭 本月10/23-10/27 我與NAXS corp. 前往菲律賓 馬尼拉，受邀參與當地藝術節 WSK Festival of The Recently Possible，並於23，24兩日用工作坊Workshop的方式，與當地人一同尋找馬尼拉古蹟、有特殊意義的建築、街道、物件，用手機、相機等最簡單的方式來製作3D掃描馬尼拉的城市記憶，我們會集結大家一起製作出來的3D模型及隨機採樣的聲音，放入即將演出的影像中，與馬尼拉城市共同建造身歷其境的虛擬實境回憶。27日的演出將在五百年以上的歷史古蹟Rajah Sulayman Theater完整音像live呈現。 MV參考：https://youtu.be/Nfo5MYkNK8A

[Workshop Info] This October 23-27, navigate the cityscape and create a live visual scene with the audio-visual duo @meuko_meuko and @naxscorp by capturing the ghost of vague emotions, the wireless-electric-memories on the streets of Manila, and the appearances of those still roaming in history.

Meuko! Meuko! and NAXS corp. will share their knowledge in GHOST OF THE ROAMING ISLANDS, a 3D scanning and psychogeography event. Participants will be introduced to various concepts and tools before engaging in “city-scanning” Manila. Reinvestigating the cityscape together by roaming around the streets of Manila equipped with smartphones, DSLR cameras or any digital camera, everyone is invited to gather not faithful replicas of reality but ghost images of captured memories.

The workshop will be held at the Bank of Singapore Co-Lab, 3F George SK Ty Learning Innovation Wing, @areteateneo, Ateneo de Manila University

The 3D scanned materials will be combined to the A/V set in order to create the fellow’s own work, be it music videos, live A/V set, or VR installations with a game engine. Works from the Ghost of the Roaming Islands workshop will be presented in a special performance on October 27th at the Rajah Sulayman Theater, @intramurosph.
